Why is this game so badly optimized?

I have everything on medium/high settings which is even lower than the game's reccomended settings and I have to cross my fingers each game still isn't a stuttering mess. On the good days I can have fun with the EPG and mastiff and on bad days I have to resort to alternator because the game will freeze every split second i get shot at or a titan drops or anything other than running occurs, and even on the good days there's still stuttering, though not as jarringly bad.

People will still give you shit for using the Devotion, even after its several nerfs. It's still very good at its job laying down suppressive fire and mulching Pilots when it gets up to speed, but it absolutely feels weaker than it did months ago. I feel like Batteries need a buff. It seems that the amount of health you get from a battery isn't enough to justify risking obtaining more batteries from enemy titans. It would be nice if they regen'd more health per battery, Maybe make the shields stronger as well.

I've played against his stack before with a bunch of randoms on my team. We got our asses handed to us on a silver fucking platter, but for the most part they weren't metashitting and were actually civil in chat.

What did Respawn do to melee? Actual forward facing, no jump melee attacks whiff constantly and the jump kick still dives. I lose those dives more often now.

I tried using a gamepad and an AR a few times just to understand and it felt pretty powerful but I never did any testing like this. I can't imagine what someone who's actually good with a gamepad could do, it must feel like playing against a literal aimbot.

I can't argue about phase shift but I can about r-97.

R97 is the most generic of assault rifles.
By picking it you are saying you have no niche, no expertise and no creativity. You want a gun thats good at everything and is easy to use rather then a gun thats godly in certain situations that you yourself must master.

Were it not for phase shift, you just picked the most generic of loadouts possible.
In a world of stormtrooperesque blasters, double snipers, smgs the hipfire of gods, lmgs that are actualy mobile, gravity grenades, stickybomb launchers, sonar emmiting throwing knives , holographic decoys and shotguns that are (for once) good, you chose the generic assault rifle and flashbang. The kind of arsenal that you can find and play in any other fps regardless of setting mechanics or gunplay.

You might as well not be playing titanfall at that point.
