Autobalance was great feature, it made matches more even, also being able to freely change teams was good when you're in those retarded teams with like 5+ engineers, switching teams and going demoman and fucking the turtlers felt great. Autobalance would distribute the retards if you they were entirely in one team, making things better. Sometimes it wouldn't balance team at all, but most of the times it would solve stacked team issues.

This current retarded casual matchmaking system favors team stacking. Get 3+ people together against randoms and it's gonna be a quick stomp. That's if the losing team doesn't ragequit after realizing teams are not remotely balanced.

I'll take being autobalanced into a loss in the last minute than having queues for completely uneven matches that aren't fun to play if you're along with the team steamrolling or being steamrolled, there's no challenge or fun to be had in these.

There's also some other benefits to autobalance, it changed how the matches played big time, adding some variety to the game since different team setups turned out to be different out in the field, sometimes you'd face a really good player, you got back and forth with him, and then suddenly you're on the same team watching each other's backs, that a was a nice change of events.

They have fucking killed pubs with this inferior, unbalanced retarded shit that only favors team stacking and makes ragequitters destroy a match completely.

Are there any good community servers in Europe? I don't think I can have fun in pubs anymore. Every time I try to fuck around with any other class than Scout, my team can't seem to get anything done. I always end up going back to Scout and carrying the game for the Engineers that are still building their sentries at our first spawn door.

This new retarded system makes people wait more than before, and took freedom away from the players from staying on a Valve pub as long as they wanted, voting maps, voting to extend maps, meanwhile you get those shitty 3 options.

Now you wait until the match is made, wait until the timer is gone, hope the teams don't have a 3~ players difference, if they do and you're on the team with the advantage, you really don't feel like playing for real because stomping the other team means back to queues and it would be too easy to do so with a numerical edge.

They have infused pubs, which were a more laid back mode, into this more competitive environment that was never the point. I'm not saying Valve pubs before were all about friendly heavies or should be about those, but auto balance worked because the overall score of the match was not important, how you did in the current round was what counted. Now we're stuck with this dumb system where you can't shuffle the players around no matter how bad the balance is, where you can't stay in a map for a long time because why not? I just see downsides really.

This casual matchmaking is pure fucking cancer made by retards who don't have a clue. I don't remember complaining there needed to be an experience bar after I spend a long time playing some 5CP matches. It only added fluff, waiting and frustration to something that worked just fine before.
