Combat is really fun, the fluidity takes some getting used to but I really like the CC focus (even for PvE) and it has fuckin' grabs, man, I love grabs

BUT the endgame is a load of bullshit and you will feel the pain of the weapon upgrade system which seems great at first until it gets grindtastic

Tradeskills are awful and despite fun movement there's no exploration because it's got more invisible walls than any other MMO I've played except maybe XIV

Wakfu - is there no way to do the Royal Shark/Whirly/Kraken dungeons without paying to play? I've gone as far as I can in the main quest but get gated before going to the Zinit Beach, but I've been told those dungeons are in the main quest and I haven't reached them yet.

Get better skills or get an AoE pet. Whirlwind isn't enough.
Try finish the Saga missions, you get a free Pegasus. It does a small AoE stun and heals poison. With 8 character cards you can have 8 of them.
Or if you want to use skills then Lullaby is good. Rain Casting and Shock are also really good. Hydra if you want to kill things quickly.

Had the same problem with the same game, NCsoft is honestly fairly lax about their security for gw1 now, and if you make an appeal and provide some info about your account they will give it back to you. They ended up asking me to provide as much info about my account as possible and I gave them some names, char appearances, and w/e else I could remember and they gave me my account back pretty smoothly.

I got to level 102 on a Guardian and a few more in the 60s

Is it bad? No, but it's slow leveling, cash shop is super jew and arguably p2w, classes are super imbalanced, and game is fairly dead though you might get groups barking in global

What's good about it? Fun classes with unique abilities and interesting mechanics, good community if/because it's all old people, talents and legendary weapons all change how you play, crafting is cool and useful at all levels

If I had anyone to play with I'd probably still be playing but it's too slow to go alone desu

I disagree with even that being it, the game was attempting to appeal to a casual market despite all the "hardcore gaym for hardcore gaymurs" shit they marketed with, and when the game was in beta with shit optimization, people let it slide because it was a beta. Then when the game LAUNCHED with the same optimization, and brand new cards at the time getting ~30 FPS in open fields and ~20 in towns, people were furious and refused to pay for it, so the game got 0 subscribers from the getgo, which is disappointing as hell because I loved the game.

This is just not true. Wildstar always sold itself as the hardcore mmo for hardcore mmo players. Challenging content, dungeons that don't fuck around starting form the first one you unlock, 40 man raids, unforgiving mechanics, blah blah blah. Then the game goes live and it's all of those things but it's also buggy and unoptimized. So people start leaving because it's not fun to bust your ass on content and have nothing to show for it.

Mediocre. PC version is so far ruined by P2W that new players can literally not catch up to older players with the systems in place to raise your power. It's like a mobile game with time gating. It's dumb as shit. You'll never be able to become as strong as them, and many of them are in the hundreds of millions of power range. If you want to play it, try the PS4 version, it's relatively new, but the game ism ediocre overall, it's not even really an MMO, you have a hub then you go and do instanced dungeons till you hit a big field type area where you complete a bunch of small missions, and try to level up your classes by grinding out the same 10-20 enemy spawns till you max it out.

It's just boring, and tedious. It's easy to max classes out, don't get me wrong, and it's neat to fuck around with all of them, but you'll probably be hard pressed to find a desire to continue playing it after a few days, a week tops, unless you really like grinding out boring as fuck instanced "dungeons" that are 100% linear with no puzzles, and doing shitty open field quests that are either jam packed with other shitheads trying to kill the same mobs as you leading to competitions about who's OHKO move is off cooldown, or completely empty and just being an enormous fucking circle for you to go around clearing mobs from.

By all means, it's f2p, give it a shot. But do not expect anything serious or rewarding from it, you missed the start of the game where they gave out lots of tools to bypass the time gating.

About the instruments, all instruments sound the same and have the same range among their group, and gacha pianos are the same as commerce pianos for example besides the classic look. There's a tuning kit as a rare drop in Musical Math dungeon, now this corrects the sound they say (but i can't confirm first hand, I'm googling right now. Actually I have one but nothing to put it on, I wanted a piano but will probably try that on a violin on Monday, fuck it). Now the thing is if you put together songs as a composer you'll test all of them on all instruments available objectively, for the most suitable sound, right? And then, this new jam band feature where a lot of instruments will work as an ensemble if you write enough lines for all of them, zzzzzz it all needs tons of testing. For example, gacha harps are hard to find. Gacha pianos are 5-10m. This whole movement is really expensive for a beginner who can't fight, can't half the events and thus has no money.

why do as opposed to rapid leveling and getting the stats that way? I mean, "not opposed", both. Talent titles you'll get along the skills will net even more bonus stats, like pic related. Gather adventurer seals on all your chars, bank them together, buy and resell enchant expiration removals, 200-250k per thing. Look out for the events to abuse, there's currently nothing.

I think ASTA is pretty good as a WoW clone, but with the low population and how bad the company that's running it is, I don't see it being worth playing.
