Your point is definitely valid concerning killing pharah's. I mean I'm pretty sure the tank rounds deal like 200 damage on direct hit. The problem is most of the time there's a for of High hp barrier in the way.

I know this is going to be retarded but, what if in his ultimate he had standard damage reduction, but he could shoot through all forms of barriers. Like some kindof temporary special piercing rounds for the duration of the ult in any form?

To be honest all bronze to gold is is just a league for people who can't aim well enough or in my case at all. I've been playing shooters on and off since I can remember and I never really got much better than what I am now. Is there a realistic way to improve aim or should I invest my time in another game to play? I do all things I should do and I call out flex pick too but lets say for example with soldier I can't beat anybody without my helix if I miss the helix splash or direct hit I lose. I also try to get the high ground but I find targets harder to hit like that. Its not like a fighter where I can just practice read matchups and execute a simple gameplan and be reactionary most of the shit in this game is press Q or mechanical skill.

This is beyond frustrating.

It's not necessarily about his damage. Regarding my suggested ultimate changes, it's more about bastions utility against barrier heroes.

Yes his current ultimate can on-shot 200 hp characters, unfortunately shot's can get frequently negated by barriers themselves. The very things bastions is supposed to destroy/be a counter to. Also his ultimate can be reflected. He can still be damaged by his own ultimate at close range and D.va can eat his shots.

Mei's ice-wall can also completely negate direct shots and Bastions movement speed in his ultimate form isn't much faster from his standard movement from what I can tell.

It is a high damage ultimate ability, but it doesn't really match his core characteristics of being a barrier destroyer in any way. Especially when his ultimate can essentially be countered by so many things currently in the game.

His current recon mode and turret mode are pretty great though, I'll give you that.
