I decided to head to the Rito place first after leaving Hateno and Kakariko stuff, should I like stop and explore on the way? I sorta just beelined straight to it on a horse so far, didnt uncover the map on the way. I usually try to explore every inch of an area before moving on but decided to do this, but feels weird

I activated some towers, found the master sword, activated some more towers and did some more shrines, got the master sword and only had 2 towers left, which were for Elding and Gerudo snowy mountains, so I left them be and did Rito, Goron, Zora and Gerudo. Activating the last 2 towers as needed. I explored most everything all the time, since the actual quests for the divine beasts are disappointingly short.

So yeah, just explore and go where you feel like it. I DO recommend that you enter new areas and such through their lowest levels/riding horse following the main roads first, because it's clear after 170+ hours in this game, that while you have the ability to climb, the areas and such were created in a way that look best and feel better if accessed normally rather than climbing and flying around. Just a recommendation, but horse riding in this game is just so fucking comfy, since they just stick to the road so you can look at places and mark interesting thing on your way, plus it almost always puts you close to the towers and shit.

I would also recommend you go to Akkala and talk to Purah's friend over there. It feels like such a long trip and the region tower is the best one to unlock. The start to the Zora's quest is also in the way, which I would say is better to do first than Rito, but don't do that right away and go to Akkala first.

There's a hole in a large rock tower that is blocked by large rocks, due northwest of Gerudo Tower. When I used stasis on the big rock to move it, a blood moon happened. At 3:35pm.

As far as I can tell, any progression you make counts towards the world level so to speak.

Beating shrines, completing quests, doing divine beasts, killing many enemies or killing unique enemies like Talus, Moldugas, Hinoxes and Lynels all count towards higher level enemies and higher level weapon modifiers showing up.

In addition to the treasure chest glitch in Hateno, I can confirm that there's one around lake Floria as well. The sensor will start to go off when crossing the bridge and pick up a reading as you head toward the south waterfall (rassia lake). Once you reach the waterfall, the sensor will just stop blinking altogether even though it just had the strongest reading.

Just found something interesting when I was teleported back to the Great Plate after my great escpae.

Some of the Flora actually respawned in the Great Plate after I picked everything dry. Plants, mushrooms, fruit. Not all of them, things like the apple tree sometimes only had some apples. But some came back.

No weapons, monsters or other gear respawned though. So this is like a half blood moon.

Also, the old man was not impressed with my Moblin collection.

They actually start attacking you more. The difference is they don't disguise themselves as travelers on the road anymore, they just show up whenever you're traveling near roads.

They'll appear more often the more bananas you're carrying in your inventory.

Sorry, friend. The Yiga started out sounding like a cool threat, but get relegated to comedic nuisance pretty quick. It's a shame you did Gerudo first, talking to NPCs in the overworld and finding out they're Yiga is a surprisingly fun detail.

I think I brought this up several days ago but I really like how the end of BotW mirrors that of MM a bit.

Through the entire game you have had a constant reminder of your ultimate goal looming above or around you. The clock in MM is always ticking down and Ganon is always waitng.

In both games after clearing the final challenge it brings all that built up tension to a swift and cathartic resolution.

Ok I can see why you can't buy weapons but I don't understand why you can't sell them as I'm often forced to throw away weapons to pick up better ones.

Weapons should be worth more based on type, make, buffs, remaining durability and maybe what you took them off.

On top of that why can't we enchant weapons. Let's say I like a weapon a lot. I might want to make it do more attack so or have more durability. This seems like the kind of end game content that should be in the game

As for ThunderBlight I find it interesting that Urbosa is a Sword and Shield user and so is Thunder Blight. It's unlikely given Wind Blight but what if the Blights mirror the fighting styles of the Champions. I can imagine Urbosa darting around like Thunder Blight and when she creates some distance it's too blast you with lightning

Buying weapons would counter their intent to have you use multiple weapons because what's to stop you from buying a full inventory of Royal Broadswords and using them all game.

So, I haven't beaten the game yet and I'm doing all of the divine beasts. I plan on heading to Hyrule Castle with no food and saving before the Ganon fight starts so if I die during any of the phases, I'll reload and have to restart all phases. I'm also saving all the guardian weapons for the fight and of course the master sword.

What do you think, will it make up for the lack of challenge I'm hearing about? I mean, I can't imagine a more heroic way to take on the finale.

From the looks of the store it seems Cara makes everything and Isha just sells it. Still there's so much potential for added mechanics just from the Gerudo

I would be more interested in having the Grteat Fairies do different things like the first fairy boosts defence, the second gives set bonuses, the third boosts weapons (attack up, long throw etc), the fourth boosts shields and bows and then you have horse fairy. Obviously this costs materials and your weapon still isn't permanent

You can already do this by passing time and revisiting spots where gerudo gear are found.

After Ganon's usurpation of Hyrule's protective machines, the near death of the hero chosen by the sword, and the ghostification of the other champions, a plan was formed by the survivors. Not the thing about putting Link in a bath. Another thing. More importantly than the defeat of Ganon, the loss of such fabulous man meat could not be allowed. In a realm of men whose faces looked like mashed potatoes packed over a giant packing peanut, it was agreed by the hottest women of the time that under no circumstances could Link be allowed to not have a vast harem to spread his Adonis genes throughout the land. He would surely survive, but what manner of ultra bods would await him?

And so the supermodels of the land - Purah, Impa, Zelda, some bird lady with a gigantic ass, and little bits of the skeletons of Mipha and Urbosa that had rained down upon Hyrule a little earlier that week, gathered one final time to agree upon a hilarious prank to greet the hero upon his resurrection. I actually had a lot of fun going into storms wearing the thunder helm and trying to get struck by lightning on purpose. Link doesn't even flinch, and it's hilarious seeing enemies try to attack you only to be suddenly fucked by the wrath of Thor. One time I put on all the metal I could wear and started chasing lizalfos around just blasting them with constant lightning strikes.
