Like, take the Toon Zelda amiibo, you get the wood shield from Wind Waker, decent and durable as fuck and neat to have.

But, to get the weapons from the Amiibo you need 1 Divine Beast down. Im 40 hours into this game, lynel weapons, fucking dark guard weapons and I cannot get amiibo weapons because no divine beast yet

I did a test getting rid of everything possible including heart and stamina containers, but not arrows or rupees because would take ages. Had killed a Silver Lynel at Red Lynel spawn point but it still spawned as silver one after blood moon. So I guess self-taken compendium pictures for some Lynel weapons are confirmed missable. I know can buy from lab though.

Sidon was there at the throne, and did not recognize you and asked if you are a Hylian. After that the king's normal speech happened and everything else normal happened.

I had a fucking feeling that the giant horses listed 2 speed stat was bullshit.
I decided to take a part of Bridge of Hylia (namely about half of it) and stopwatch 3 horses running down it at a steady gallop.

The Giant Horse (2 speed) took 13.03 seconds.
The Royal Horse (3 speed) took 18.14 seconds.
A non-legendary horse of mine (5 speed) took 13.69 seconds.

So the Giant Horse outpaced a fucking 5 speed horse.
For those interested when constantly under A speed boosts the royal horse took 12.65 seconds and the 5 speed horse took 10.75

If the giant horse could use speed boosts it would easily outpace anything in the game, it does not have 2 speed.

The Zora in Hyrule are pretty isolated community, I fail to believe that some of the niche population evolved and the other didn't.

I'd rather just see the durability system scrapped though. I don't think I've ever enjoyed a durability system in any game I've played. It doesn't work in Zelda past the first hour - rather than fighting scrappy, throwing your weapons and picking up new ones frequently once the weapons themselves get better you just fucking hoard the good ones and never use them. It feels like shit.

So if the Gerudo immediately threw open their doors to any Voe who wanted to come through what would be the down side. Sure a bunch of super horny guys would flood through but let’s face it a Hylian can’t do anything to a Gerudo, the Gerudo doesn’t agree to. We’ve already seen Gerudo being wise to false words Voe say to seduce Vai.

Now for the benefits, there’d be an initial influx in visitors and whilst this might decrease as Hylians discover Gerudo aren’t easy marks it’d still be higher than it is now. When Gerudo can bring their husbands into the city then there’ll be far better work life balance and children can be raised by/with their fathers further reducing any chance of Gerudo being romanced by unsavoury Voe. The population will also increase since these husbands are likely to be banging their wives far more frequently. They won’t have to travel to find males but since the balance will always be in favour of Vai those who want the adventure can still leave to find men. Hidden practices can be brought into the open like the GSC and skills and technology the Gerudo would appreciate can be brought to the town like dye shops. Their culture would be safe because the language of business is Gerudo and since all kids would be Gerudo they can never be supplanted as the majority.
