I don't know if that's all of them or just Jaal. Jaal's personality is that he thrives on discovering the mysteries of things and taking things apart to see the truth. So he starts viewing it that way and seeing it as something that makes the Angara more interesting and unique. Discoveries to be made, etc.

The other Angara seem relatively bothered, but they may not be reacting so strongly because their situation is inherently different than it would be for say, humans. We have all this history and that discovery would basically be saying it was all wrong. The Angara don't have history. They think they're missing pretty much all of their past and don't really know why. So the Jaardan thing is more the answer to a worrisome question and gap in knowledge than anything.

Real talk, should I see a doctor about autism? I've restarted 5 times in under 2 weeks and as a result I've sunken over 100 hours into a game I haven't even finished 40% of.

For some reason whenever something upsets my perfect playthrough, I get unreasonably upset/annoyed and often times will stop playing entirely. This is only a recent development, I used to be able to play and enjoy games through multiple playthroughs (and had no problems with occasionally fucking up a playthrough). Now since I typically only playthrough a game once however, I find myself more and more obsessed with getting it right the first time.

As a result I'm finding myself enjoying video games less, but Mass Effect: Andromeda in particular.

I had a similar issue with DA:I and restarted so many times I eventually got sick of the first half of the game and never ended up beating it. I really don't want that to happen for ME:A so I'm trying to force myself through despite really wanting to restart right now.

You should probably realize that you'll pretty much always encounter a few minor bugs along the way (nothing game breaking or stopping your progression typically, but perhaps leaving you unable to finish random Tasks or miss minor dialogue options). Every decision is technically saved but, no every decision will not factor into the next game. That would be an insane amount of work.

I'd look at the Mass Effect wiki's save file transfer page to get a general idea of the level of missions they port over. (usually they port over 6-8 key "main" decisions" and the rest just get an email sent to your console at most).

There is no way to know for sure which choices will impact the next game until the next game releases.
