Zuljin's marksman talent gives .25 per attack, effectively.

Zagara also has a level 4 talent - usually never used - .3 per attack, no reward.

That was kind of the point, the scaling was made to make it slow, and reward healing people a higher priority than hero attacking.

I just played a calibration match as tyrande; the game went 20. I had 55k healing, with no tank or bruiser to peel.

So with 750 heal per .5, a total of 36.5 would have been accumulated over the course of that match, from healing alone.

What do you think of that data?

As far as I understand, HotS is very bursty, but in both directions. HP bars go down fast but go up equally fast with healers around, resulting in a tenuous equilibrium of healing and harming.
It makes assassins vs. assassins in QM become an utter fucking slog sometimes. Had a match go up to 40 minutes because both sides kept slaughtering each other and never getting the momentum to assault the core.

In a way that is an issue with the talent system.
The game by intention was created with talents in mind, where in theory talents should be the way Varian and Kharazim have talents, or to a lesser degree the way that Falstad and Thrall have talents.
For the former two, certain tiers completely redefine their playstyle and how they contribute to their teams, while ultimately keeping their cores the same no matter which build you go for.
For the latter two, they're both always assassins, just your talents define if they're mages or auto-attackers.

While of course giving every hero access to everything is broken, in theory the talent system should greatly enable QM because as long as you have 5 people of these different nebulous roles, they should in theory be able to pick talents that cooperate with each other and counter what the enemy team's heroes do, at least to a certain extent.
But with many characters having their talents more pushed towards specific styles or even niches, and the higher leagues wanting to see less of the people who only know how to play one character, we're only going to see less options in terms of talent building around your opponent.

That said, it's not like people use their talent choices well in the current situation either.

Murky is super gay. I don't even care if he's good, it's so absolutely unfair to play against him I can't stand it. Even if you go through the trouble of finding his egg, which he can have 4 of on the map or one that gives more truesight vision than the actual vision pads, you're not even rewarded with anything. He has the same death timer as anyone else which means he's going to be out of the game for 20-30 seconds instead of 3.

His full death timer needs to be 3-4 times longer than other heroes to make up for being worth .25 a kill or he needs to be way weaker. He can kill a minion wave of any size with two abilities any point in the game after level 4. At level 10 he can deal 90% of your health every 20 seconds or zone you out of the objective for 7 seconds while the other team is free to do whatever they want. And even then his slime does absurd damage while keeping you permanently slowed. He doesn't even need to do damage when he's such a pain in the ass that you're forced to just let him do what he wants or force one person to sit in lane against him the entire game without ever contributing to objectives or fights.

Now that abathur is classified as a support that isn't a support is he going to get microbial regeneration baseline? Will it get massive buffs? Because it's absolutely not fair to pretend that he's baseline as much of a support as Tassadar or Medivh. For him to heal he absolutely must take microbes and "permanent" shield, he really can't do anything else because he needs to spam it on cooldown, the shield is only for 200hp and if you break the shield his healing ends.

Enemy Valeeras are nowhere near as annoying as Valeeras in your own team.

Learn to bait Valeera into uncloaking, and to recognize her cloak shimmer to hit her with an AoE. She's a squishy who blows her load and has to run away. She can't do anything in a 1v2 situation, unless the 2 are drooling idiots.

What can I say. I love her. She's versatile, mobile, can do high damage, has a DoT effect to fuck escaping heroes, has a great escape, clears camps and minion waves like nothing, can contribute greatly to teamfights late-game, is one of the best pushers in the game, her ult is fun, and has a great voice and flavor as a bonus.

She's my second-most played character, and one I play best. I can't not recommend her.

Anub'Arak is currently such a hero.
Pros & GM tell you Arthas is still broken but Anub with 2 AoE stuns and enough survivability to solo every backliner in the game makes him extremely strong across all leagues.

Its because you're in gold. There are so many people that are completely clueluess about this game playing sub master its ridiculous.

Thats why most people create new accounts and just go D3 straight from placements.

Its much easier than picking yourself up from gold/plat hell where you get gul'dans picking ROD, Zeratuls with less dmg than the healer, hammers never leaving siege mode and autistic split pushers that keep getting ganked because your mass danger/retreat ping goes ignored.

MMR in this game is completely trashed and I dont think anything can salvage it since Blizzard is againt complete reset.

I just think it's stupid there's ZERO reason to take Uricating Spikes now.

You want some hybrid with little effect?
Uricating.

Purely by numbers without scaling up, 70% extra damage on your 99 base damage ~ extra damage 70 damage.
Uricating 80, doubled vs heroes 160 damage.
Just two attacks with mandibles will even out, except you get a third one in with it's natural duration, and your team has a bazillion ways of triggering it. Meanwhile spikes have a 7 second cooldown.
It might kinda be worth it against bunched up heroes? That only happens in frontline though, and Anub doesn't want to do shit to the frontline anyway.
Uricating needs a little bit of love. Not necessarily damage, but perhaps utility? Or passively reducing it's CD by 2 seconds?
Reducing Acid Mandibles to 55-60% might be fine, though.

As someone on the reddits pointed out, Lucio is the prime example of the worst thing they can do with talents, and sadly also shows the way many talent reworks are going.

>Speed tier, pick the best go fast talent for your team
>Q Talent, pick either the quest or the more knockback talent based on what your team needs
>Make your aura bigger tier, if your team sticks together a lot take one, if your team spreads out a lot take the other, if you want to troll take the boombox
>Ultimate
>Self survivability tier that just makes Lucio more durable against certain kinds of comps
>Heal tier that makes Lucio into the best healer in the game
>More amps tier

He doesn't really change playstyle no matter which talents you pick at each of the tiers, and you can't focus your lucio in any real direction because each tier is focused in a direction already instead of giving options.

Arthas' rework starts to do that but at least his talents in those tiers are different enough to change him from bruiser to anti-melee to no escaping the lich king

Illidan has zero poke though. His damage only comes from proper teamfights or diving hard, his damage usually means something while Auriel can just rack up numbers by throwing her abilities off CD in the enemy faces.

To be fair though, that Illidan probably sucked. 4 deaths is 4 too many. I assume he just got fucked the second he went in because he couldn't wait for shields or Chen initiating, like all the illidongers do.
