Do you think it's a small thing to push the Kett out of a planet with a couple hundred people and 2 weeks worth of supplies? Besides, game also establishes that the cryo seems to have fucked with a lot of people's aggression levels. She made the best of a bad situation. You should also take a look at the holding cells in the collective base if you think they're a bunch of daycare teachers and nurturing types.

I appreciate that they become a little more reflective about it later when there's some proper downtime, James gets depressed about an uncle he left behind on Earth, as well as leaving in general, while Kaidan hears that his dad is MIA and his mom is all alone now.

With Liara it was a slow build up, after Earth and Palaven, she probably knew it was coming once the Reapers started advancing into Asari space, it was a slow build up, plus Shep and co get the information that could potentially save the galaxy stolen from them legit right as all hope is lost for Thessia, it'd be a punch in the gut considering how close they got to ending it.

weapons feel weak, the AI is totally retarded just waiting behind cover to rush you or standing open in the field. you suadmate AI is even worse, running straight into the enemy.

but the main problem is the reason. the story is so fucking bad it pulls the gameplay down too. its just so tedious and you know there are waiting 10 more hours of the same boring combat for you.
