tails like SA1, maybe give him a few extra moves. like a 'hover' mode when flying, it would be a mode where tails flies down slowly thus making landing on a precise spot easier and maybe a 'dire' jump move, an extra bit of lift when your about to under shoot a platform.

Knuckles can play the same way as he did in SA2. just give him a minimap and objectives instead of shard hunting. I think it was the aimless wandering that people didn't like.

Tails can fly. The flight is NOTHING like in Adventure though. Adventure Tails' flight was just a glorified glide and double jump. It was barely controllable. I want him to control like a gyroscope. He go fast or slow. Hover or accelerate.

Knuckles can glide, climb walls, and dig. Gliding and climbing is just like in Adventure/Adventure 2. Digging into the ground allows Knuckles to hide underground for a few seconds (until you let go of the dig button) to avoid getting hit by enemies/projectles/etc. Could be useful for boss fights and dealing with enemies like Orbinaut and that mantis guy who shoots his scythes.

It's pretty rare that we get moments like this between Sonic and Amy, granted it was a dark time with the whole Mecha Sally arc. Still, it's nice to see something other than Amy chasing while Sonic runs away. It's why I prefer their interactions in the newer comics than the games. Maybe Forces can change that.

I know I'm really slowpoking here but I finally got around to playing and beating Generations.
The final boss wasn't as bad as I heard, really. I mean outside of "THAT LOOKS LIKE A HOMING ATTACK" it was alright. I've experienced worse bosses in Sonic games.

Planet Wisp was atrocious, though. I've never hated a Sonic level more.
Other than that, great game. Hyped for Forces now.

Planet Wisp Modern is my favorite level because it's the only one that actually requires skill and properly punishes poor play. You'll probably cut your time more than in half when you replay it a few times.

That's actually my main issue with it.
Not because a level shouldn't require skill or properly punish poor play, but because it just comes straight outta nowhere.

Hell the level itself seems like standard Sonic Generations fare until you leave the green fields of Planet Wisp and then you're suddenly you might as well have entered a completely different game. It's jarring and unexpected. None of the other modern levels had anything like it.

Modern City Escape was a blast.

I wasn't too big on Sky Sanctuary on the first playthrough but upon replay, I found it much more enjoyable.
