That's pretty good. The original line has him use 『正義を貫く人』, which can be translated as "person who carries out/sticks to their justice," with 貫く also meaning "to pierce," and Haru's answer is 「たしかに、貫きそうな仮面」/"Certainly, it seems like a piercing mask...", which doesn't quite work if translated literally because of the wordplay.

I think Namatame was mentioned at some point in December too. There's also a Kuma/Teddie-based decoration you can get for your room. Futaba has a Catherine figurine in her room, and a few Featherman R posters.

Third line:

Still singular, and there's no talk of "contempt" here but just connotations of rebellious feelings (against someone or something of authority and power).

Fourth line is fine.

Fifth line:

"Grudge" is a valid translation for 恨み normally, but because the word used here gets an important callback later on, it should be translated as "resentment" (as "grudge" doesn't quite work in the later contexts).

So what's the big issue here? Shidou. He's talking about Shidou specifically. This entire conversation is the first major clue at his actual motivations (and what his actual main Persona represents, to a lesser extent), and the localization generalizes his answer to the point of losing that foreshadowing.

Translating the おかえり/ただいま banter as "welcome home" and "honey, I'm home" is actually valid. That particular exchange has similar connotations to a family member or beloved welcoming the other home (and the other responding in kind), and it's kind of playful in the original scene too (Goro actually continues it into the next line, by saying Joker's awfully late).

I would've probably translated Joker's option as "I'm home," but that's actually not as clear about the familial/playful connotations in English.

Depending on how they handled the translation, that could be what happened. P5's script is stored in different files per scene, and if the localization team didn't go over the entire script first, it's possible that they missed that foreshadowing because they didn't see the scene it's related to yet (it's easy to miss the first time you see it, but it's pretty important).

Still, this is the kind of error that should've been caught in the editing- or quality checking stages. This really shouldn't have made it into the finalized localization, and it's a pretty bad error.
