Fucking seriously, the one I fought on the Asari Ark was so fucking lame. It doesn't try to get close to you at all there, so I try sniping the ball. Well, the ball moves so it's tricky but doable, but then, this fucking shit teleports randomly. I had to resort to sniping, lobbing biotic lances at it, and allowing my teammates to do the rest. The rifle I had made it hard to follow up shots though, so I had to time the Lance so I could do the most damage before I repeated it. Took me like 15 minutes to fight him and it wasn't fun. I like the game, but goddamn this shit grated me.

Not really. The Fallout games tend to pick stuff to stumble on so densely that you can't help but find things to do or see or get no matter which way you go. ME:A, like DA:I has vast spans of nothing. And much of what is there doesn't feel as fun to stumble accross. ME:A, DA:I and many open world games just feel like a giant checklist of boring shit you have to do. FO4, not counting its radiant quests, has tons of content to just stumble across that feels more hand crafted than anything in ME:A, DA:I or any of the big open world games that try to compete with Bethesda.

I'm not even a big Bethesda fan, but for all their flaws, no one does open world like the,

Now if they could steal Shadow of Mordor/Shadow of War's nemesis system, better writing, animations and combat, Bethesda could strike gold.

As is, they're still some of the best open world developers in the business. They have flaws in other aspects, certainly, but they do open world games in just such a way that Bethesda open world games are the few I actually like to just explore. No other open world game does that for me.
