More than likely she was just the lead facial animator, as she said, was embarrassed after the shitstorm and scrubbed it from her bio, EA denied her being something she never claimed to be. Lead facial animator is not the lead of the department that handles animations, she was the head of one small section of the animation team, they got everyone on a technicality there so really said nothing, and she was probably never a permanent hire in the first place, a ton of the staff leave when a game is done because they aren't needed anymore cause it's fucking done.

In dialogue it's pretty railroaded. It's not so much choices in what to do or anything, it's more choices in how you say something. Do you say it in a flirty way, a professional manner, a casual manner, in a logical manner, in an emotional way? And in the end they all sound similar anyways and no matter what you come off as a timid person rather than a natural and decisive leader.

The second question I still don't understand what you mean by power wheel, there never was a power wheel in mass effect games. There was a pause menu you could pull up to coordinate teammate abilities and setup the hotkeys for your own, but now you set up your abilities in a different menu and you can't coordinate squadmates abilities, they use them automatically and you can't tell them when to.

Andromeda's feels like a superhero soundtrack that every now and then remembers it's supposed to be Mass Effect and goes heavy on the synths. While ME3 couldn't match ME1's aesthetic or ME2's orchestral pieces, the ambient pieces were really good. The girl works for EA Capture Lab, where her title there is Lead Facial Animator. My guess is that EA Capture Lab does the mocap, and her job was to do the animations which would then be sent to Bioware, where they (the actual bioware devs) would presumably touch up and finalize the animations.

This is why he says "misidentified as a lead member of the ME:A development team" because she isn't even a Bioware Dev -- she works for EA capture lab which is most likely hired by literal grads working for pennies.

The bizarre thing though is how the actual animations went in the final game presumably untouched. Someone at Bioware (actual bioware)was SUPPOSED to touch up and clean the animations, but nobody did.

This all points to a serious lack of management at Bioware Montreal, which while yes is the shitty C-Team of Bioware as a whole (these guys never even worked on ME1-3) but it still means that there is something extremely fucked up happening internally at the studio.

I can't decide whether to get the game or not. I'm not really sold on the singleplayer, so I'd basically be buying it for multiplayer at this point. But its p2p and neither my friend or I can reliably host more than 2 other people.

and it's weird to say but it feels like this is in many ways worse than warframe. Enemy counters are significant, instead of mowing down some (most) enemy types in warframe. Things feel a lot jankier though. But this isnt to compare the two games. I just feel like I'm not getting much out of this, and multiplayer matches are sketchy af due to p2p with high upload requirements. Will that improve?

Basically they were meant to be the ones who go down on planets and give the OK to start colonization. Without them approving a planet, the Nexus/Arks can't start waking up people for colonization of the planets, and the whole mission stagnates as it had been doing for a year before you got there.
