you're lying. there is no reputation or community in matchmaking.
you might have attempted to say that you're so good at the game that scrubs cry hacker when you do well, in which case I know you're not a liar, but I still doubt it happens as much as you say. cheaters are extremely common in matchmaking, because there's only a tiny skeleton crew working on the game. they only get banned automatically, from getting too many reports. it makes sense that the scrubs who just installed the game within the week would think a player who isn't deaf is a cheater.

this game is dead. community servers only play a few different maps in a couple game modes, matchmaking was a shoddy attempt at getting more money out of a corpse, and there aren't any real devs on the game anymore. in time, you'll learn how to eek out the little enjoyment there is left, but you have to come to terms with the fact that nothing will be done to fix any problems.

If he propped it up vertically it's probably about the height of a dispenser, so any place you can reach by hopping on a dispenser. You can chose to place it vertically or horizontally with right click.

I'm not surprised updates are on the way, I'm surprised there is at least some movement before summer, because I kinda wasn't hoping for anything until july-august.
You see, I believe that they want to have last comic issue to go out with big update. New Pyro update is quite obviously won't have comic (at very least canon one, maybe some three page tie-in), so this leaves us with Heavy update.
Now, the speed of current TF2 team is slow even by the valve time standards, so I'm fairly sure we will see only one serious update this year, and it will be Pyro one. After it, they will gather all forces (quotes) they have to push Heavy update. This also means we will have Rehashoween again, as well as Rehashmass.

Anyone have any solid tips for running stock invis watch? I've practically never played spy before his big update with the watches that gave me the ability to live longer without having to worry about accidentally de-cloaking due to lack of power, which I've used always afterward.

Also I'm getting kinda better with the Amby since I've been testing it in Hightower. Gotta find some games where spy isn't stacked so I can adequately test Amby in better objective maps like Payload.

Typically I prefer revolver, I mean I can ghost too while on the CnD. And your tactic of hop on objects is something I've always known.

Difference is with CnD I can sit there, not worry about losing cloak and take my time to study the situation before diving in so I don't fuck up and get sent back to spawn, where as with stock watch, I have to worry about that drain, and if I have to hop down to pick up an ammo kit, I'm taking a gamble that some pyro doesn't pass by to get ammo and bump into me, causing him to spam all over until I get puffed and then it's all over.

But yeah Not a real fan of Amby, I mean I'm told it's "better" for proper spy play, but I mean my stock revolver has worked fine, and for a while I ran the Leet Ranger for longer cloaks, same with the DR so I could adequately have time to get out of an active area so I can decloak quietly.

Know map layout, know ammo box layout, know shortcuts you can hop around on, and know safe places to decloak. If you can get from ammo spawn to ammo spawn, you can go a lot farther while invisible. Take corners wide to avoid bumping into people, walk on top of fences, and try to take generally unpopulated areas. Keep an eye out for dropped ammo boxes as well. Don't stay cloaked longer than necessary. If you know the area is safe, decloak so you can have that cloak to move through the next unsafe area. Generally, you have just barely enough cloak to run across any point, but any additional ammo will help and will let you extend a bit farther into enemy territory.
Remember that you don't go BRAAAAAAAAAAAAP anymore after decloaking, so feel free to do it a bit closer to the enemy, especially in a noisy area.
Escaping after getting caught, while not as easy as with the Dead Ringer, is totally possible. Just cloak and move in ways that arent predictable. Predictable being straight to ammo and health packs, or straight to doorways.

Amby is a good gun. Just remember that you don't need headshots to finish people off.
