The same with bastion. bastion is considered a shitter character because generally shiters play him. before the buff, he was already a great character, you just had to understand when to use recon vs sentry mode, and what situations and gametypes made him valuable. Sombra is the same way. she can get through chokes like no other. she can absolutely shut down tripple tank because tripple tank is entirely dependant on the abilities of the tanks rather than their weapons ie, reinhardt's shield, ana's grenade, and roadhog's hook. Most players were too fucking dumb to use her effectively, and only retards would complain about her SMG being too weak because they would do something stupid like try to 1v1 reaper or soldier rather than outmaneuvering, harrasing, and finishing them off.The buffs to sombra are an attempt to make people pick her more, but since those same people aren't smart enough to play her correctly in the first place, these buffs are largely superfluous
