I like Azama so I've been looking at my units and trying to think of making the gayest skill inherited Azama possible. My Azama is +HP, -Atk (which I think is pretty decent on him actually).

Right now my thought is to promote Saizo to 4* and give Azama poison strike 3. that means Azama does 20 flat damage with each attack if it stacks with Pain.

For Azama's A skill, I'm thinking of either promoting Stahl to 4* for Defense+3 or throwing away my Jeigan to get Fury Level 2. Unfortunately I don't have Hinata for a Level 3 Fury...

If I had Hinata though, that sounds super gay. Fury seems like it would work well with patching up Azama's shit stats AND giving him more mileage out of Martyr. At that point I guess the question is whether I want his defense balm or imbue. I kind of prefer Imbue personally, especially in conjunction with Martyr.

For skill inheritance, does it take into account pre-requisites? For instance, to get Poison Strike 3 would I have to transfer Poison Strike 1, 2 and 3 from Saizo and then learn each in order? That's my only guess as to why you're allowed to learn 3 skills.

Any other tips for troll monk?

Poison Strike 3 is not a weapon though. It's just a skill.

Also, healers and ninjas would technically be in the same movement type category (infantry) anyways.

Now, you might be completely right in Poison Strike 3 being non-transferable. That's why I've held off on upgrading Azama to a 5* yet until I see skill inheritance personally. I also don't know if poison strike 3 will stack with Pain.

If it does though, I think it will be fun.

I'm not expecting this to be meta shattering or anything. I just like Azama and am trying to think of the best way to maximize his potential. 20 guaranteed flat damage on a fairly tanky unit sounds decent to me. I really would love to get fury 3 too; it would help patch up his crummy stat total while giving him stronger martyr heals. Failing that though I'd settle for Defense+3 or Resistance +3. Defense +3 would make him an even better physical tank while Resistance +3 would allow him to survive neutral attack unbuffed Lindes and deal back 20 damage to them.

Stats are very nice for a unit with 3 mov, barring spd, which sucks but I got +spd so that definitely helps.

He's not a tank, so the fury damage isn't a TERRIBLE deal since he can kill his one target than dance around your team to pick something off.

3rd highest bst in the game means he's solid in the arena for score purposes.

Also, take fury off him like any sane person.

You're using him entirely wrong. He's not meant to "survive." He's meant to kill, and do it with huge stats. Fucking, unequip Lunge, he should never have that.
Pair him with Gunter.
Give him a dancer.
4th can be your choice, maybe someone with Swap or something.

His Mistletainn procs Growing Light frequently when leveling him, Gunter buffs his all-important Atk/Spd and letting him get danced makes him massively powerful, especially against a group.

Putting him on a meme-cav-team of Gunter, Reinhardt and Eliwood/Jagen makes him terrifying. Alone he's just a 3 range fury.
