I'm kind of upset about how much everyone is what I expect them to be. The humans are typical starter humans. Drack is a typical Krogan. Vetra sounds just like what I expected a female turian to be and somewhat like Nyreen too. The comparisons of Jaal to Javik, accent included, worry me too as much as I liked Javik. I'm unsure how dependable they are, but it's best just to have a general understanding of what your hardware can do. In the case of the system requirements of Andromeda it's built on Frostbite and if your setup can run BF1 well, you should be ok with Andromeda.

The way I see it Bioware pretty much intended to have Kaiden to be the one to survive by the time ME3 came around. Kaiden, for example, has more interactions with the crew wereas Ashley only has her hangover event on the Normandy and doesn't talk with anyone else on the ship.

Pretty much. Everyone in ME1 was a little 'textbook'-y in that they really only gave you expositional dialogue with a slight emotional tinge. ((kaidan - biotic info+my bad experiences during training/Ashley - alliance military info+my families war past, etc)) but by the time ME3 rolls around, Kaidan's pretty entertaining, it's also just nice to have someone on the ship whose a genuine optimist, pretty much everyone else is too snarky or quiet to fit the bill properly.
