Idk anything about the Steam version. I know it works for Origin digital since the game basically just looks for the paths to the installs and doesn't care if you have packs that aren't registered in the client.

I downloaded some new default skins and eyes. I didn't want to go too crazy different. I wanted the skin close to maxis style, because a lot of what I found was weirdly shiny.

Can any kind souls help me out here? For some reason my, and only my, sim's skin textures bugs out and becomes this flat, stretched texture. This seems to happen when my sim goes to university. Other sims are just fine and this sim was working fine before she went to university. Hell, if I have her streak her body is fine, but doing anything else to strip down results in this fucked up texture.

I don't think I"m using a custom skin, but I played a premade sim and went back and forth from university and it didn't happen to that sim. For whatever reason the game keeps trying to apply both male and female meshes to that one particular sim.

I had the same experience. I moved to 3 and couldn't stand the performance even with all the NRAAS mods, installing it on an SSD, merging CC, and edited worlds to fix routing issues. So now I'm playing 4 every so often, but not everyday. I'll probably be more into it if it in a year or two.

Tried rebooting game, selling the board and reapplying it. Tried a new game, and even in the new game it doesn't work. Would a mod be an issue? Only script I have is wicked WH.

By exporting tray folders. The uploader has no way of telling what tray file correspond to what library item, unless new software has been released to identify this. So by copying someone else's tray files into your tray folder, you're getting everything they made, not just the thing you want.

That's the whole point for any character replication; it's for people who already know the character and want it in their game. And the hair color obviously points to Anna out of all the ones you posted in that image.

If no one had ever played Overwatch or heard of it, they wouldn't know who Tracer is even with all of her official bells and whistles. I don't know much about Overwatch and have seen that character in a variety of different get ups and could still identify her because, again, their are other visual clues to go off of if one is changed.

Different hair? Look at the eyes and face or clothes and find matches. It's not hard to see likenesses, at least not for me it isn't.

Exactly. Even if you don't really know that she is called Tracer or even that she's an Overwatch character you could still acknowledge that she's a character because you've seem her before with the same identifiers. I never watched that show and didn't know the name of that character was Anna, but if she were dressed like she was on every single picture I've saw of her at least I'd be able to say "oh it's that girl from that kids show". But since she was stripped of everything that's remarkable about her she might as well be a random OC red haired girl for all I know.

I suggest using MC controller man - it overrides some aspects of random generation- but what always fixes it for me and I genuinely tested for it is to start a new game - delete everything but mods and tray from EA folder in C and start a new game with firewall rule to block sims 4.

Before that I had bit fat people dressed like clowns or people looking exactly like me all the place, it's indeed ea way of saying fuck you if your game is not fine in their telemetry scans.
