group achievements hold no comparison to SSF achievements, let alone in the context of a past version of the game where grouping at higher tier of maps was basically forced upon players and dedicated mapping groups would have had a massive advantage over solo players, regardless of how good the latter were. post 2.0 PoE helped bridge the gap between solo and group play a lot, although group play remained an advantage for obvious reasons.

the fact that poeg crowded some top 10 results in the past is irrelevant, because it was very much the group effort of the guild that pushed those to the top in an era where the game was still relatively unknown except on /vg/, rather than the excellence of their performance.

the game was also simpler, with almost zero strategical approach to the class chosen, while now your class choice has a massive impact due to ascendancy specialization, rewarding players who know how to build a good character, rather than just the cosmetic choice of choosing templar/witch/shadow to play a flameblast build from level 10 since it was then an act 1 reward.

What an amazing game. Wow, absolutely blown away. Everything about Path of Exile shows a level of craftsmenship and love I can barely even imagine.

The story, characters, and most of all gameplay is amazing. Absolutely wonderful. It really does appeal to all kinds of people as well, most casual people on the lower difficulties and normal leagues, and more hardcore players with hardcore leagues and high difficulties.

I can't believe such a wonderful experience is free too. GGG really outdid themselves with this. This is probably one of these best games of all time.

ED needs decay to transition into later maps and consuming dark to kill anything with a decent amount of health, like Atziri or any bosses above t10

ED is also slow as fuck
so it's not really a good league starter or an endgame build

WOW, belly of the beast / black core is absolutely amazing. The bossfights are all great and pretty engaging and the malachai fight is downright awesome. I'm sure you've managed to overcome a lot of expectations, including mine here. Also the personalized voice lines are nice.
