I don't agree. Most of the times changes are what make a fighting game more interesting. The issue is that the changes in SFV are so bad and negatively oriented they make the game more boring than it was before.

I really liked Beta 1 because it felt great, not perfect or the best SF but much more enjoyable than it is in its current state. If they changed the game (negatively) so much then my experience with it are going to change as well.

Also SFIII NG was wack, it wasn't until 2I and especially 3S that the game became somehow respected.

Learning stick myself, its not too bad I've just had a hell of a time figuring out how to move my hand to do anything on P2 side. I'm finally at a point where I'm mostly comfortable but I still drop shit I wouldn't on kb a lot. I have a lot less hand fatigue though with stick, which is the whole reason I wanted it. KB really cramps the fuck out of my hands after awhile but I was playing on stick for the past 5hrs and I can still play more.

I honestly feel like I'm quicker doing motions on P1 side than kb but that probably not surprising considering the way your hands work. Ring finger isn't the most dexterous.

I'm not going to say you should or shouldn't play a specific way, I think its almost fully down to preference. Sure, hitbox is best, I wont argue that. I personally do feel less fatigued playing on stick than kb though, so for me it has been worthwhile swapping over.

Keep in mind China is huge, so if they like something, it's going to get huge numbers. It's not like having a small but dedicated scene in some small European country. There a billion people there so you don't even need a quarter of them to like something for it to make a profit there. This is why Marvel and Michael Bay try as hard as they can to get the Chinese market now. It's just too profitable to make a movie that can't be sold or won't be popular in China. Still, what I don't get is how SFV still got a PC port even though it was financed by Sony, but KoF XIV didn't. Maybe it actually has to do with SNK, given how they take forever to make PC ports.
