Hail from germany, technically not german since I was born and raised in America. It's not something you can really give a proper explanation of without understanding the huge impact it had on germany. I guess the closest thing to compare it to would be when America rounded up a bunch of japanese descent US citizens and took everything they had and put them in concentration camps.
