If 2 was the last one you played and it was way long ago you'd enjoy 4 with no issues.

Base game even would be fine. Suited a friend of mine for a good while. If you can scrape up enough for the basegame and get together I'd say that's a good spot to start. I played with just that for a good while. Toddlers just got put out in a patch.

Both of them had the toggle key only work in dedicated fullscreen mode for me. It was especially obvious with the lack of any type of AA including the default in game "edge smoothing"

I've noticed certain combinations of hair and earrings/necklaces tend to be the cause of most tearings. Disabling AA usually fixes it, though that means jagged lines everywhere. It's a tradeoff really.

I have Wicked Wooho with 255 animations loaded (apparently) but for some reason none of the animations I use cum?

My personal favs are Mike24, Amra72, Omaster, INKkan, ooOLaLa. The latter two also did TS3 animations which are very kino.

The reason why most are shoddy is because;
1. They're easy to make (seriously, the WW framework is fucking ace)
2. They do it for free™ (well, some have a patreon, but even then some are still subpar)

They're not 3 level but are still very long.
Much longer than 4, makes me not want to play the game because I like going places and it's super annoying.

Like back in the day, I played Sims 2 on a much worse computer (Windows XP, worse GPU, worse CPU, maybe worse RAM too) and it ran much better than it runs now on a computer that can pull off any game up to 2012 no problem.

Why do you have to build two bathrooms, two living rooms etc? Isn't one enough?
