Used to be MG1, now I float around S4-GN1.
I go weeks at a time when I just can't seem to get comfortable, and can't seem to get any kills. Then I go weeks where I can get 30 kill games in SEM against GN1-2s.

Download a recoil map to learn the recoil patterns a little. I think using UMP helps when getting into the idea of playing with recoil control.
Use sounds, and learn positions and paths, so you know where you should aim. Aiming is so much easier when you know where you should aim, and know when they're about to push.

I'm noob at aiming, still noob at it, but it's steadily improving just by playing a couple of comp with friends everyday.

I think my biggest issue is getting used to the recoil shooting so high. I could adjust if my view adjusted with the recoil so every shot was still in the center, but right now it just feels awkward and shooting rifles comes with a bit of hope that it works, if I'm not just tapping.
