Beast Possessed Soul as a normal enemy is agro against anything, wake him up and just run past mobs. He'll clear the dungeon for you.

Also Witches are the worst mobs in the game, just run past them it's not worth it. Luckily they don't appear in every dungeon, and if you want to ignore them completly just don't make your dungeon Rotted. They won't spawn, and I don't think Rotted has any helpful effects for gem farming unless you want top tier pulsing gems.

They'll also combo from neutral on most mobs, and pancake on the second hit. Nice way to cheese things that can be pancaked, like Sackmen.
