It's really deceptive, I keep seeing people replying like "holy shit so many lines" when in reality it's far less. Welp, Rudolf and Kyrie are officially awful people. Rudolf doesn't surprise me that much from how much Battler hates him, but Kyrie really makes no sense to me. She seemed to be a fairly normal person, yet suddenly she becomes a sociopath. She had displayed part of her character when fighting the Envy Furniture, or when fighting Jessica, but that was all about love so I didn't expect she'd become a murderer on a whim like that.

It's kind of funny how the story has tried to distance itself as much as posssible from Beato being the real bad guy.

Reasoning they posted on Fuwanovel (And last thread I think too) is that it seemed interesting, and its shorter than the other two Tone Works.

Its a pretty flimsy reasoning, but seeing as its their initial translation project post-finishing of their latest manga TL (Nisekoi), and they also said that they might indeed continue with the other Tone Works VNs, its a good reasoning to start, least in my opinion.

Honestly this is a welcome change that a longstanding TL team from /a/ has come to this hellhole to give hope for fan TLs.

Well, all the tone work's games use the same engine and use the cell phone a lot, so if they do actually do continue on with the other games from Hatsukoi, this will be very good practice for them.

Hatsukoi is quite a bit shorter than Hoshiori and Ginharu though, mostly because Hatsukoi doesn't extend beyond high school nor does it feature marriage like the other tone work's games do. Ginharu feels especially long because some routes drag into university and beyond, plus the game starts during middle school!

I haven't been here in a month though, so this is the first time seeing them post about TLing Hatsukoi. Hope they can keep the enthusiasm up.
