Every single arcana applies to every single person to some degree. The arcanas that the characters have been assigned to are usually those that fit them best. Furthermore, in the Persona series the main point is usually about growing as a person and solving internal issues, rather than just fighting against external enemies. As such, Shiho would be Fortune arcana not because there are external issues she has no control over, but because she feels like she's completely trapped by them and has no control over her life. Ryuji's also been affected by things out of his control, but his main issue is losing the goals and ambitions he had, causing him to waste his life being angry and doing nothing productive. Futaba's main problem is her excess isolation combined with her inability to connect with her inner self, and so on.

Well I'm playing P4 from the PSN store atm and it runs fine. There have been a couple times where I've gone to load a save file and its said "corrupted cannot load" but after trying again it works fine. So maybe just keep a back up download. Also the upscale to HD tvs is pretty good too (access it by hitting ps button and other settings).

I personally think it's far more likely they don't put gay romance into the game because the people working on it don't feel like it's something they can write effectively, because they don't have any experience with it, are homophobic, just don't care, or something along those lines. Just beat P4. Definitely a bit to silly in its general atmosphere but I did prefer the setting over P3. Didn't think the character's were as good P3's though, outside of their social link moments most of the interactions with the whole group felt much the same throughout the game. Really would've liked some kind of gameplay change, felt like I played a duology with different cast.

I think the writers of Persona are also more invested or deeply concerned with how the character fits the themes of the game and whether or not they can pull off writing that type of narrative for them. Hashino himself confessed once that he's not confident about his abilities to write female main characters or something, if I recall. Either way, I think despite the fact that Persona characters often fall into the same repetitive archetypes, the team is trying very hard with them. FE in comparison has some really insane characters, and the gay stuff they did have in the game last time wasn't exactly the most well-written or without issues.
