Currently a Merc for the empire in PooP and thinking about becoming a vassal to them cause I have good relations and I like their infantry focus. What's a good castle to try and get? Those forts next to the Noldar forest seem nice since I could then use the Noldar as extra defense, but I'm worried about how defensible those castles are in a siege battle

Anybody else play M&B in a window? I use Windowed Borderless Gaming to remove the menu bar and fix the mouse offset. But the thing doesn't save the goddamn settings for the game and I have to set the resolution and offset everytime. Any other solutions? Borderless Gaming isn't one.

Well there is no overhand thrust for spears so shieldwalls are pointless now as the guys in the back can't do anything.
Aside from that the armies of lords are fuckhuge.
And I know that they don't want players to spam elite units everytime but the units are leveling way too slow now they could have made it a bit slower than warband to still get the same effect without so much frustration.
Also I miss some polish like they have in Viking conquest.

You can use good archers/xbowmen to whittle down their defenses over various sieges, works better if the castle's siege is a ladder since it's faster to attack many times. You just F1 and patiently wait while the enemies die.

Your ranged units HAVE to be better than theirs or else they'll just rekt you, also be wary of enemy lords.

3.0 is gonna be way less buggy than 2.0, i swer on me mom m9. in all honesty I actually could have updated it around 12 months ago but other stuff got in the way and both my parents were home 24/7 for like 6 months. There were still quite a few bugs back then as well and I didn't really want to release a halfassed version because I knew it would be really easy for me to sit back and forget the mod after that, so I kept hold of it and right now it's much more stable.

Ship navigation is not working (lords also affected by this bug; they stucks on the shores) upon loading save. Restarting the game fixes this issue or use LCtrl+Click cheat to get around this.
NPCs sometimes spawned outside the map.
Use LCtrl+Alt+F4 cheat to kill remaining stuck NPCs.
Conquering new world is good idea if you want to build your own kingdom.

Just checked it out.

It seems unpolished, and some nasty textures that clash together textures, plus THIS armor.

Some of the armors combinations are cool, and the music and backgrounds are kinda nice too, but require polishing as well.

I'd recommend Dark Age instead.
