It's scary how garbage harps are in this game. Sure they never have been a huge weapon type in previous FFs but this is just sad.

One would think that in this category you would find weapons that inflict two or more status effects at once, or gained access to exclusive song abilities, but nope.

Both Bows and Instruments are lackluster when they can't be used with Dual Wield.

Instruments should have either higher status proc rates or song abilities tied to each weapon. Bows should be pushing past 200 ATK with top tier bows. Bird Killer isn't enough.

There's really not much difference between other types of weapons, besides their damage ranges during damage calculation. The only incentive to use a weapon over another is if that character has passives specific to that weapon type.

Well, just throw it in the pile with 5* max characters, espers dealing no damage, and any other mechanics that can be ignored.

Dark matter is easily purchasable from the fat bird, so I don't have much of it stocked up, but my greens stash is around 170k so I can get plenty when I need to.
Stones I've only got 40 free, but I've got plenty more in 5* relics that I'll never use and stored in relics that won't get much use once I have the True Hero on my team. I have enough to fully augment both of his relics at 8*, if that's what you're asking.

Use what you want. Rain has more HP which currently is the most important thing to a Full Breaker.

Agrias doesn't even have 6* yet and you're talking about Enhancements.

Use your Gigantuars on whatever you want. Rain is useful now, you might end up doing his Story Character only dungeon when we get them, and he only needs half the gigantuars to level up (and less 6* mats).

Or just keep using your current 5* Full Breaker, besides HP, they'll both do the same thing. It just helps if they don't die to the average elite boss attack.

in breif, it took three playthroughs of XII to really appreciate his worth, however I didn't really pay much attention to the plot for the first two so make if that what you will. I did like the change to Randi, giving him an atk buff when single wielding. It made him unique.

This is what the game should've really strived for rather than the power creep and need to release better and better units where older ones just become obsolete.

Magic lacks equivalent damage numbers. The scaling from Thundara to Thundaga should be higher. 1.8x is weak. Magic only offering one hit after long delays doesn't help much either. Dualcast even consumes MP twice unlike dual wield.

It would seem that the combo system would be meant for attacks while the elemental spark system would be for spells, but weapon attacks can make use of both while spells do not have multiple hits

50% Alone for Two-Hand doesn't make up for the extra attack Dual Wield provides. Not being able to stack Two-Hand hurts it more.

Number of hits is tied to character and skill and not by weapon choice. You'd think greatswords would combo less, while daggers and fists could combo more. Sure in actual FF games, it didn't matter, but they could've tried a little here.

Limit Bursts are not strong enough to offset Dual Wield, which would be nice for a Two-Hand user if Two-hand worked well enough. Only utility limit breaks are worth leveling.

Plenty of things wrong with BE, but we play it anyway.

I usually leave if a team doesn't have all the bases covered or if someone else has a bunch of overlap with what I'm bringing. I always used my OK with Full Charge to do that but I think gearing him for MAG and spamming Swiftspell instead might do more damage. Full Charge has been pretty pitiful in most multiplayer matches I've done.
