That's a difficult one, I'd have to say in terms of 2D, I'm tied between sonic CD and either 3 and knuckles or 2 because in terms of level design CD might not be the best, but it's music is something else, and it's really short and sweet, I've replayed it several times now, which is more than I can say for the others. But 3/knuckles and 2 are more solid sonic games as a whole.
As for 3D sonic games, I'd probably go for adventure 1, if you ignore its minor issues it isn't too bad even today. Though desu I was satisfied enough with leaving the last 2 campaigns unfinished, just sonic and tails felt like a complete package. I don't think I'm missing anything by not playing the fishing minigames as big and playing as gamma.

I'm pretty sure in the issue before Razor also says something about realizing things can't go back to how they used to be, so it's more meaningful that they both regret it to some degree instead of just having one sibling being conviently evil. Knuckles' Great-Great-Great-Great-Great-Great-Great-Great-Grandpa (no exageration) was alive and able to walk. Julie's grandpa and great great grandpa as well (dad and great-pop got fucking iced). Lien-Da looked like a supermodel in her MID SIXTIES.

Generations mean NOTHING to these people. If time progressed normally for the Dark Legion, Julie would probably still look like a middle aged woman by the time Knux was a teen. It is entirely as creepy as it sounds.

As far as I can remember, she stood by and insulted a guy while her minions trashed his house. Then she stood by and had her minions trash a street and beat up a guy. Then she got captured by the Brotherhood but Ken forgot about that so she was back with the Legion next time we saw her. She spent that time either being loyal to Dimitri and worrying about his health to maybe scheming (it was inconsistent) and complaining that she wanted Julie-Su dead. It was retroactively established that she was Kragok's twin and Julie's sister and that they erased her memory twice so they didn't have to acknowledge her as family.

In 25YL she yells at her son for misbehaving and chats with Julie and Sally on the phone like they're best friends.

These are the only two pages she appears in during the final issue of the arc. It's funny, she's not even on the covers or anything, but a one-off badguy called "Xenin" is on one.

Clearly Ken was just trying to keep a low profile on this hot new bomb of a character, letting her slowly creep into people's subconscious first!

They kidnapped him, an anti-tech politician who loves tech (hurr politishans r hypocrit), so they could lobotomize him and make him announce he wouldn't be running for reelection and have him endorse pro-tech Hitler instead. Gotta remember people that the target audience for these comics were young and Penders wrote it they way he felt would convey what he wanted to best for that target audience. After all, it's not unprecedented to have Nazi villains in kids media (see: Kamen Rider's Shocker)

It's incredibly difficult to write for kids media, more so than people think.
He's still a terrible writer.
