Rework the ranking system to a points system or something, then rate cards on rarity/meta snap-shot so new players will never go up against a tier 1 netdeck with basic cards.

Step one. Add a filter for Shadowverse and cunnyverse.
Step two. Hide and report anything weeb that passes through.

The best thing Shadowverse did was refuse to push completely bullshit 1 drops and 2 drops.

For 1 mana, you get a 1/2 (scaled to HS numbers it would be a 1/3). That's it. That's all you get. If it's a class card, it comes with some trivial rider - for instance if HS had this design philosophy they'd probably still print voidwalker - but there is absolutely nothing that can snowball like mana wyrm and tunnel trogg.

For 2 mana, you get a 2/2 with upside. That's it. Maybe a 2/1 with upside. There is no "totem golem looks like I win xD", there is no "war axe looks like i win xD", while there is "on-curve wild growth looks like i win xD" there's no innervate and relatedly the ramp class is the worst class in the game, hell there's not even a "wymrest agent looks like I win xD". Because of their design discipline, games absolutely do not spiral out of control by turn 2.

And because 2 drops all come with random upside by design, teching against fedora warrior would just be as simple as playing your destroy armor 2-drop

Yes. You're missing the fact that you cannot get duplicates from packs in Duels. That is HUGE. Every set is 100% guaranteed to be completed in either 80 or 64 packs, depending on whether it's a large or small set. Getting any specific card you want is harder in Duels than in HS because of no crafting, but getting complete sets is WAY easier. There's no way you'd be able to complete any Hearthstone expansion in just 64 packs.

Also, you can farm three packs a day very easily. It's faster to farm three packs in Duels than one pack in HS.

Not that guy but Magic Duels is pretty easy to get cards for. It only takes 5 victories for a card pack vs the 30 it takes in hearthstone, or the 45 it takes to enter arena, and they both have daily quests.

Also it is impossible to get more copies of a card than are allowed in a deck so you never have to disenchant and every pack guarantees cards not yet in your library.
Getting the specific cards you want can be just as time consuming in hearthstone.

I am free-to-play. I have a full collection. Every card and cosmetic item in the game. Never spent a cent on it.

And the game itself is 1000 times better to PLAY than Hearthstone because the fucking mechanics are on a whole different level. Deck variety that HS can only dream of. In HS you know exactly what your opponent is playing as soon as you see them because there's at most one viable deck per class. In duels your opponent will play his first turn and you'll still have no idea what deck he's playing.

I hate defending this shit game, but its not 30. The 5 victory quest give 60, so two of them gets a pack. But the play cards ones are infinitely more common now, and require no effort on your part to complete.

I only enjoyed duels against ai, it was generaly shit agianst other people. Part of it is that magic is much more fun in person. Other part is that duels is still pretty shit in comparison to mtgo, and I do consider it worse than hs to start in. Maybe if you grind away for a few months, but I couldn't bring myself to do that, especially with how slow magic games are. I've got a respectable collection in Hs now.

Rag is a lego that comes and goes out of use depending on the meta. Kinda gets boring at times but then the meta shifts and he goes out of fashion. I think a slight nerf on him would be better than rotation. I like him as a concept, but since he's simply this good in a slower meta, he will always be there when the game slows down.
