We're about to push a new build to the PTR with some new changes:

Roadhog Hook
- Added some more line of sight checks towards the left/right of a potential hook target. This means it should be easier to hook someone who is sticking halfway out of a doorway, or behind a thin pole, etc. These checks are also used for the persistent line of sight check, so if a hook target moves behind a slim object like a stump or a lightpole, they won't be released anymore.
- Hooked targets are now slowed heavily while they are stunned, even if they are in the air. This means if someone is strafe jumping away from you and you land a hook, they are a lot less likely to slide out of line on sight, breaking the hook.
- Fixed a bug that could allow you to hook someone and pull them behind you if you spun around before the hook landed.

Ana
- Biotic Grenade duration reduced from 5s to 4s

Sombra
- Hack cooldown reduced from 12s to 8s

As Genji jump into large groups of enemies when no friendlies are around and try to get a solo team wipe. If there are friendlies around you stand as far away from the action as you possibly can spamming m1. Blame your healer when you inevitably die.

Ice walls are your friends. It doesn't matter how many friendlies you block, if your ice wall isn't on cooldown 100 % of the time you're doing it wrong.

Sombra is just useless so it doesn't really matter what you do.
Even when you play her well you're still gonna be a detriment to your team, but she's getting a buff soon so that might change.

Her counter should be Sombra. That character is designed to move behind teams and take out supports quickly and run out. Just improve Sombra. Her dps is fine because, if you can aim, you can do plenty of damage. She needs more mobility or health.

Sombra can hack Ana to remove her kit which is the main thing that makes her difficult to 1v1. If you give her more mobility she can become the Ana killer. Lucio and Mercy can escape Sombra. Ana has a better kit but as trouble getting away from her.

Sombra needs changes anyway.

Yeah I get at least 3 gold medals most games, and when I don't get them it's because there are better teammates than me in which case I most likely won smoothly already.

I hear so often that Rein wouldn't be good if chokes weren't the size of his shield, but he's even necessary on koth maps with wide open paths. If his shield health were reduced, surely his usage would have to drop

>>165222697 here, I mostly play ana but if my team is uncoordinated, I've had great success pharah carrying. any self reliant dps (hog, soldier) or a mobile flanker (genji, pharah) will help you out tremendously. you need to make an impact or stall the other team to let your team get their bearings together since trickling is a huge problem.

Hacking characters will always be better than hacking health packs. With her reduced cooldown, though, she can do both reliably.

Well I really like playing pharah. I mostly like flanking and doing my own thing as her and I feel like if I did that in comp people would complain and blame me for losses.
