season 2 I solo queued from 2300 to 3000
this season I have been solo queueing from 2900 to 3400

solo q is the easiest way to rank up tbqhwyml

It takes 2 losses to wipe out the gains of one win. But since I lose more than I win I have not moved.

Last season I won 60% of games to get diamond. This year I hover at 2700 and like 45% win rate.

I haven't gotten worse. I still only solo queue and play the same heroes. So this shit is luck.

Queuing with someone you know helps you to coordinate better because you have been playing multiple games with the same person, and know their tendencies and habits, it reduces the chances of you having some griefer shit up your game because you have at least one other person (or maybe even more if you have more than one friend!) who you know isn't going to purposely try and throw the game.

There's nothing to quantify solo q being the easiest way to rank up, the only thing you can quantify in this situation is reducing the possibility of there being a griefer on your team by queuing with people.

I'm proud of you for solo queuing though. I bet you don't even need your mom to cut the crust off of your sandwiches anymore either big guy.

How do I know when we are supposed to wipe and reset? If 2 of my (non support) teammates get picked and we're 4v6, do we wipe then? Or is that silly?

Solo que gives you a much better chance of ranking up. Just pick the Rein or the healer and carry where you can.

If you have to though a group of two is the best. No more no less. When you get in to groups of 3 and above you run the risk of matching with 4 man 5 man 6 man teams and thats pretty much game over.

yes there is.
playing in a group makes it more likely to q into other larger groups which are more difficult to beat than other solo queuers. if you get a troll/griefer you'll most likely lose even if youre playing in a group. and the decreased risk of getting a leaver on your team is negligible.
Leavers are a lot more rare than people say and "griefers" are more often than not regular players who you have decided are shit.

Well let's say you're playing a standard three tank comp with Rein, D.Va, Roadhog, Ana, Lucio, and Pharah. The enemy is running a mirror comp but instead they have a soldier. Even if you are doing a lot of damage to the rein shield or to the roadhog you're not going to be as effective against the soldier in team fights on most maps.

I like Reaperx76 but I think that the ship that has the most plausiblity at this point is Anax76.
They have a comlicated backstory, they obviously care for each other and are living together working for a common cause at the moment in-lore. They also have the most voicelines together and some of those ar sor-of flirtatious, at least from Ana's side.

Obviously even that meens very little but I have never seen any sort of indication towards Mercyx76.

If you click while someone has a red skull on them and they're the right-most enemy and they're not protected in any way, that means they should be dead instantly if the bullet is hitscan. I counter all of them with D.va

For hog, you can usually outDPS him, even better if he hooks you. If he ults, you can block pretty much all of it. If he gets you out of suit, make as much distance as you can and finish him off with your pistol.

For Junkrat, you catch his grenades with your shield and press him hard when he reloads. Jet+melee also fucks him up good, because he can't reliably hit you when you're in his face.

Kinda same deal for Pharah, catch her rockets and wait with damage untill she reloads. You can easily reach and body slam her with jets, try to follow up with melee and then shoot her while you both fall down. Most Pharah's panic when you get in their face while they are in the air.

How do we make Lucio more fun and engaging to play /owg/?

Keep in mind that his weapon literally has the lowest DPS in the game, and he gains literally the least amount of ult charge based on damage dealt.

Now why did I mention these things? Because these two things together means that everytime you take even the slightest risk to have a chance at booping someone or taking piss shots for pathetic damage, you risk dying, you risk everything you are usefull for. This only encourages Lucio's to just fucking stay behind and ...exist.

Landing shots that deal health/armor damage whilst in healing aura boosts healing, similar mechanic to Zaryas shield with a counter that goes up.

Genji is rarely seen, Widow and Tracer picks might as well not exist. Bastion sees more play than on PC for some godforsaken reason, even on attack.
Rein is still a 100% pick, DVa sees less play than PC. Hanzo is a plague on every other game. People haven't quite realized Symmetra is a powerhouse yet.

Symmetra is honestly busted to death on console. You can reliably lock on enemies that have left your FOV for almost a full second before it detaches. Chasing is so easy with her it's almost insulting. And nobody looks for your shield generator.

Pretty similar really.
Snipers aren't used, but when picked I am sure everyone gives an audible groan to themselves.
Ana is good but hard as the aim is trickier. Most rely on her throw to much so the nerf might make her not used as much.

The overall meta is similar with most comp picking tanks and a couple of others.

Tracers and good Genji can be a pain at times because no one can aim well enough to take them out at times.
