Even a 50 blt evelyn is mostly supplementary, so anything less is a waste imo, but it really depends how hard you want to min-max

It's base bloodtinge damage is higher than evelyn til you hit 40 blt, and is pretty solid on a BSB beast gem 28.7% + 7.3 flat

I use it during chalice dungeons when kiting faggot enemies like Mad Ones, Ayys etc. and also use it when invading gank squads

Evelyn is obviously the main-stay of a bloodtinge build, but every gun has a use to it, some are just more circumstantial than others

Also hunter tools don't cap in damage, so while your arcane weapons/gems will stop at 50, your Call Beyond won't, so the biggest results after 50 will be to hit 99. It's sort of an ''all or nothing'' mentality. If you're tempted to go to 60 ARC, you'd be better off going 10 more endurance etc.

There's data on hunter tools between 50 and 99 ARC on Reddit somewhere

Saws (cleaver, spear, whip transformed, beastcutter, whirligig transformed, church pick) all do serrated damage which hurts beasts more.

FROM can make the game however they want. I personally don't like Dark Souls 3 PvP because I hate duels and invasions suck. I have much more fun in Bloodborne.

It's not even the gank squads that ruin invasions for me, there have always been gank squads and I've found it fun to try to deal with them. The rolls, lack of weapon variety, uselessness of magic, etc. just make the game's PvP feel so much worse than the previous titles.

I enjoyed the main game at least.

the real issue is because healing is so abundant, not counterable in anyway, and effectively instant, the only way you're killing a host is with a oneshot

this leaves you with two builds - Hornet+Big weapon and parryfish or Spin to Win with buff oneshot - everything else just straight up loses a war of attrition when you have half the estus of the host, then he has up to 3 buddies with him, and can turn the fucking levels enemies on you, AND you can only have 5 lloyds talismans.

How does a bloodtinge build usually go? Like can you just grab any gun like the cannon or Gatling gun or Evelyn and that's basically your main damage?

your main weapon is going to either be chikage or bloodletter, its pretty easy to just get 14 skill and 14 strength to be able to use both. You have to use the tricked forms though since they scale off bloodtinge alone.

Level bloodtinge to 50, get Snek and Evelyn and yeah thats it really - Bone Marrow Ash on Evelyn with 50 BLT will wreck shit hard. The good news is for things like Chikage you dont need to farm bloodtinge gems - you can use physical damage up gems, which increases the blood damage.

If you want to use stuff like the cannon then obviously you need to dump more points into strength but i didn't bother - i did a skill bloodtinge hybrid which is a bit different

Bloodtinge builds can be kept pretty low level if you dont want to use cannon, since you can just get 14/14 then 50 Vit/BLT and be done

Early game just rush saw spear, use it to shit all over gascoine and milly, run to woods for summons, shit on hemwick, run past everything to Logarius (grab evelyn and reiter on the way if you like) beg someone here to carry you through Logarius or just parry the fuck out of him like i did and then pray to anna and get your weebedge swords
