Worth pointing out that Soujirou does have some missable dialogue if you don't talk to him regularly that sometimes includes extra information (i.e. if you talk to him while Goro's at Leblanc the second time, he mentions that Goro's paying his own tuition fees with the money he earns as a detective and suggests that Joker should follow his example), so it's possible it's mentioned in one of those lines. I'd still recommend considering it bullshit until someone actually provides proof, though.

I had the most harrowing dream last night.

Atlus released a Persona 4 animated special. The story was that a NEET in the real world got a wish from a genie, and he wished that he was transported into the world of Persona 4 as Yu. And so he got his wish.

The rest of the movie was just a bunch of drawn-out shots of Yu sitting in the corner and awkwardly looking at Yukiko and Rise and Naoto and the rest of them. There were a few scenes where Yu was sitting next to one of them, and trying to formulate words.

It was so fucking enlightening.

hmm. i think as long as it's just fanart and not sold or otherwise made for profit, nor made to seem like it /wasn't/ copied, then it can be okay. it also depends a bit on how famous the original artist is. choosing to copy someone obscure/semi-popular on twitter isn't quite the same as studying a famous artist whose style everyone can recognize from games or manga.

on the other hand, i think it's actually detrimental to your own growth to constantly copy only one person like this instead of working to develop your own style. better to study many different artists and learn from what they do best.

There was an unusally long gap between Persona 4 Vanilla and it's various additions and spinoffs, to the point that a Persona game getting follow up material rather than Persona 5 seemed unusual at the time.

But FES was out only a little over a year after 3 vanilla, although they can't make it TOO obviously they were holding out for an enhanced version.

It all depends on when 6 is coming out. While Hashino might want to take a break and wait another 8 years before that I can't imagine that will sit well with his new bosses.

She's got a pretty good handle on the disconnect between the act he puts up and his actual behavior, and writes both in a way that feels more or less in line with how the game portrays him.

In that doujinshi, it's highlighted by both showing some of his actual thoughts and marking when he's lying (if you see a gray scribble behind some of his lines in the previews, that's why). Sometimes he comments on it in his thoughts (in that preview page, he lies about just ending up being late to visit Joker when in actuality he stalled on purpose because he didn't want to be around the others), but the previews already have a few pages where it crops up for some of his own thoughts too to highlight that he's not always honest with himself either.
