I'm a few regenerations behind him on the Scorch but I have some advice regarding his advice:

- unless you walk up behind enemies don't drop the canisters at their feet. They know what you want to do and will dash out of the gas if you don't ignite it fast and even then deal less damage. So drop it where you're pushing them, for example slightly behind them as you walk up with the Shield.

- unless you walk up behind a group of enemy titans NEVER throw down both canisters or you'll regret not having one on hand a few seconds later.

- non-fire wall flames are lower than the usual FOV of a titan, meaning that if you drop some fire under them it might take them a moment to notice while their health ticks away

So what has been your experience with other networks anon? Besides RDDT of course.

I have yet to try out 5-Way Splitter Rifle. I almost never use the alternate fire for the Splitter Rifle and just rely on the Laser Shot for my damage.

Just played my first game with Tone, after maining Northstar all week.

They're not hard to deal with in any way the problem is that it can easily kill you from shitton of distance before you even know it's there, it just gives points to someone who didn't do shit.

Good Sniper can still kill you if you're fast and a bad sniper can still kill you by being lucky when you're running in his direction and he has a cloak so you can't see him, it just makes people sit in one place slowing the game down.

Noine of the things I pointed out were supposed to be hard to deal with, they're annoying and reward people with no skill slowing down a game, once you know they're camping there it's basically free kill but they usually kill you by a suprise at first, giving retards one kill for just sitting in place and pointing their mouse in one direction.
This game would be much better if all weapons had small distance which would force everyone to be fast instead of just camping with their Devotion.

I understand you need to play as a coward when you're inside Northstar but she is seriously way too delicate. I don't think budding her health bar would make her overpowered considering you still need to lead her shots and flight core is a bad joke.

I think it's a little rare. I ran into a [RDDT] stack just while ago on Eden that didn't even move from their spawn. All of them stayed on top of the bridge, popped A-Wall, camped with Devotions, then formed a Tone pack. I think it happens more often with groups.

I was just in a game with my own Network, and I was a battery pulling, battery plugging machine.

Out of the whole game, once I got my first titan there was hardly a time I didn't have a battery ready to give to someone. Me and another Titan came up to a battery, but he saw me get out first, and started to turn around. I hopped on plugged him in, and then we went to town on the enemy.

Right now I'm working on getting the Flatline leveled up so that I can have the goddamn Medic patch.

it all affords playersa different way of attacking.

for example, I simply cannot use the G2 or the Hemlock without hover. Call me a shitter if you want, but being able to jump around higher than my enemies, and then create for myself a stable firing platform from an angle they do not expect yeilds very positive results for me. Time and again people will over shoot me letting me get shots on them, or I combine it with Holo pilot, and they keep on shooting the hologram, rather than me while I'm in the air, then I just go right back to wall running.

Same thing with the wallhang, it just allows you to be in a place and attack from an angle that people do not expect.

And since with my G2/sniper builds I never intend to jump on titans I have no real use for the low profile kit.

This is getting really fucking tiresome. And just as much as it is about the shit that's OP, it's about the shit that's UP too. Fucking Northstar and Normally Played Ronin are so shit in comparison to the other titans.

I'm good with Northstar and she's all I play besides Scorch, but I never feel like I'm doing good because I'm playing Northstar, more like I'm playing well despite playing Northstar. Legion shits all over her at-range, and the plethora of shield abilities, especially with Tone and Legion, makes her really ineffective most of the time.

Respawn was a mistake.

I didn't think it would be like the other anons in this general have said, but I've started using Tone just for the sake of leveling all the Titans and I can't do shit other than instagib pilots from any distance, how the fuck do I do anything
