The recent XII and XIII events U++ murdered me. My synergy in both of those realms is incredible (cleared the U+ cid missions incredible) and I struggled to even clear the U++ in those events, let alone master.

Ruin+ is fucking shit slogfest though.
I can stomach having to S/L at the end of a 5-10 min fight due to bad RNG. Having to start over at the end of a 20 min+ fight due to some fucker deciding to dispelnuke your healer is just frustrating.
Not to mention you can't just nuke weak phases either.
These shitters dont even have proper weaknesses, only "Slightly Weak" faggotry making them soak up damage.
I enjoy this game for the moderate challange and brainwork required for U+ and ++, but R+ is just annoying.

I'd say most of it was good, really.
The more dungeons and stuff I did, the more I grew to like the characters.
And again I think Chapters 1-9 was the strongest part of it. and I think they knew that too given they let you go back to it at any time. I don't resent what I played at all.

I do feel a bit bad for those people still grinding and playing chapter 3, which most people I know have and still think the game is flawless.

Also this is a fucking Final Fantasy thread.
Can we talk about how shitty chapter 11 and 12 (I think were the ones where you start using the ring?) were and how they went on a full fucking hour longer than it needed to?

Im new to FF and ive only played 10 which i hated

I didn't really follow this game throughout the years and just bought it because it seemed cool in a first hour lets play i watched.

While there are no official numbers, there's speculation it might be around 1%.

I play since the beginning of August and will finish 64 achievements this week.

The elephant in the room are the 10k Esper activations and the two sets of 10k Colosseum/Arena games/wins. 1 million Friend Points might also be a bitch. It's definitely doable as a whale, except for the 10k Esper achievement.
And even that got more "reasonable" since the release of Onion Knight because that little fucker hypercharges the Esper charge like it's nothing.

GL won't have this problem because no materia stacking, but JP is starting to run into it hard for certain whale setups.

If you give D. Veritas 4 of his TM (+60% ATK), plus his 70% natty attack boost, he breaks 300% without even touching an accessory.
So an Exceed Ring would increase his ATK by exactly 0 points, you'd be better giving him a Hyper Wrist.
And that's just one setup.
