from viewing my match history, it appears that the game either prioritizes elo or specifically puts solo ques against pairs. in several of my matches I've noticed it goes 2 parties and a solo on one team vs 5 solos. other times they put a bunch of people with 1800~ elo vs a a team of 1670~ elo (and one 1700~, yes this really happened). idk how they fucked the matchmaking so bad, honestly.

The reason why it's better is because you have better burst; two Skyes fight against eachother and assuming they have similar aim, whoever empties the clip first is gonna win. It also helps your accuracy in the sense that if you can land the first shot you're more likely to land the others because the other person has less time to move.

Yeah your deck is good.

I find that sometimes, I benefit more from getting early kill to heal if there isnt much cauterize on the enemy team. If they only have 1 healer, you can easily lay off the cauterize a bit and see how much of Kill to Heal and Haven/Blast Shields you need. On top of that, win your fucking duels. Go grab your favorite mouse, go in training room, gp practice jumping about and headshotting the walking pip, headshot the Skyes in order, practice hitting two specific things on the wall till you nail it, get a good mouse and mousemat, hell, you could even get a 120/144hz monitor if you're real tryhard.

If you can't kill a certain enemy, avoid them. ALWAYS hunt down enemies that give your allies trouble, but are no problem to kill yourself such as Bomb King, Drogoz and Kinessa

Aim is key.

Basically, Aggression is shit for a reason: because if they made it good (again), you would literally never pick anything else. It used to be good back in the day, and at that point, Aggression was non-negotiable. Either you had it, or you lost. Hi-Rez refuses to go back to those days, so that's why Aggression is as weak as it is.

How do I play Evie properly? People just waltz around slow projectiles and face to face I can barely survive (is ice block that predictable?). I get that I have to move around a lot and harass but it's not always possible.

All of the Kinessas that do not run a Minessa built make me get headaches, because they keep on whining and spamming [VVT] whenever they die.

I once had a Kinessa that actually wanted me to pocket heal her, so I started refusing to heal her as Ying, and shattering only when I noticed that she was getting healed.

Skyes are shit by default, shit character, shitter player.

I nowadays just instalock Kinessa and change last second, but I started enjoying playing her like her mines are turrets and placing them in hard to notice spots.

Ice block is a death cage, only use it when you're far away from your healer and the enemy team didn't notice you yet.
You also have to constantly be on the move, or you will die. Evie is a squishy character, so 2 enemies will rape her to death if they catch her.

Be in their backline, use blink to confuse them, soar/blink away when you see that 2 enemies are after you.
When you try to kill somebody, be in their face, and shoot at their feet or at least in their general direction for some damage.

Makoa is a character you need to run from most of the time, his hook means death if your blink is on cooldown or if he has teammates to help him.

Wormhole is a must have card, abuse the fuck out it.
Combo wormhole with flicker for some healing.
Reprive II is good if you are near death and your blink is on cooldown, you get healed a bit and your blink can be used after for even more healing.
Swift witch is good for running away from enemies, giving you some speed to run away faster.
Teleport is a good card to have, especially when you have to chase somebody down or run away when you're in iceblock.

Whenever you're in iceblock, blink up and soar, so you can escape.

You would get 35 crystals for your 200 or 140 for your 600. Gold bonus isn't worth mentioning.

Considering the fact that I run a 4 second wormhole card as of this patch, and most Evie players run Wormhole II (4s), yes and no. But it will take a lot of points from other cards.

I love Kinessa's aesthetics as well. Unfortunately, being the "obligatory sniper character" doesn't seem to do her any favors in this game. Then again, Widowmaker doesn't fare much better in her own game.

Why is Sha Lin in this game? What interesting mechanics has he actually added? What purpose does he serve that other damage heroes can't pull off better? You have to be able to win consistently at a rate of at least 2-3 wins per loss you get to get diamond and master though.

Gold and plat players can literally have a fucking negative win ratio and be worse players than a bot.

There's always a possibility that someone got their master rank by getting carried in duo queue. But it's more likely that the mouthbreathing gold shitter on your team has a 20% win ratio and will instabuy aggression on match start.
