I have to disagree on that then, at least for Bowser. While those villains were great and competent on their goals, Bowser have shown to be just as competent, or even moreso, as other villains in the Mario series. He have his weaknesses, but so do everyone else, and unlike those villains, he had been through a lot worse situations that he was able to survive afterwards. Bowser even have his moments of being close to winning and defeating Mario himself (See: Super Mario Galaxy, Paper Mario, Dream Team, Paper Jam, etc). Those villains I'd mentioned may had nearly won, but that doesn't make them better than Bowser if Bowser himself can also do something like that out of nowhere. So like Eggman, Bowser have his moments of buffoonery, but he's actually a huge threat to heroes and possibly the world, too, when he decided to get serious.

I know you're just shitposting, but I think she could really make a good foil to Sonic. A classically trained leader-type who's trying to keep everything under control while Sonic's inclined to do what he feels is right and disobey orders could make for an interesting character dynamic. Still, she'd have to be less bland and passive then she is in the comic at the moment. Boom tried to make Amy into "the smart girl", but as a result she comes off as kind of a bland female character archetype. Sonic and Sally would probably work better if they were like siblings that bickered constantly but weren't totally opposed to seeing thigns from the other's perspective and ultimately respected each other.

Break up the FFs, send them to their own niches, and have them show up very rarely. Besides, they're all developed already, no need to focus on them already. Or, an alternate idea, instead of having them take the focus for their arcs, involve Sonic. Perhaps Sonic helps Bunnie find her family, or helps Sally gain confidence. Sonic helps Rotor get over his dad. You could extend this to other OCs, like the Deer Sisters. Instead of dragging it out for years, have the show up soon, Sonic goes to their base, beats up everyone, and then frees them both from Eggman. Nice, simple, and to the point

Isometric Sonic is a good concept because rolling + physics = Marble Madness, which is neat in theory. In practice the physics are iffy and the collect-a-thon gameplay harms it. Still, it was intended to be a quirky side game and I think a lot of people give it problems because it and R were Sonic's only Saturn representation.
It's a solid 7/10 that's actually a legitimate 7/10: flawed but still enjoyable.

Most of the Game Gear music. There's exceptions (for example, Sunset Hill), but it's clear they had the entry-level staffers do those while the bigger names worked on the 16-bit games.
Boom was definitely in the "unmemorable" category. I wouldn't call it bad, just boring, it was obvious they told Jacques to go for more of a subdued, sweeping adventure score and it just fell flat.
Spinball was bad, but mostly because they used the Genesis soundfont terribly. This is to be honest a problem with Drossin's Genesis music in general. The remastered CD quality versions are actually pretty fucking good though.
And I know this is an unpopular opinion, but the third-party Sonic 3 music was pretty bad, with the exception of Ice Cap.

I had an idea a while back that Omega could sort of BE Gamma.
In Adventure 1, Eggman never actually found out that Gamma turned against him. As far as he was aware, E-102 was a surprisingly competent success. The best of his E series. The last he saw of him was when he ordered him to attack Sonic on the Egg Carrier, and he probably thought Sonic destroyed him.
Now, while Gamma was trashed fighting Beta, and his flicky freed, his wrecked chassis would still be on the carrier. It's not unreasonable to assume that Eggman might scavenge his own wrecks for parts, and finding Gamma's husk might have inspired him. After all, not many of his bots were as useful as Gamma. If he can rebuild him, make him better, then he might really have something!
It's not like it would be unprecedented. How many times has Metal Sonic probably been rebuilt?
So he takes the parts he can salvage, including whatever's left of his brain/hard drive, and constructs a new body with it. That's why they look similar. He's literally recycled!
When he starts up the new and improved Omega though, things go wrong. The new bot is angry, belligerent, and doesn't respond well to orders. Even though the flicky is gone, there's still enough of an impression left in his systems to remember he doesn't like Eggman, even if he doesn't understand why. The Doctor, angry at the failure despite being impressed with the level of destruction Omega can dish out, deactivates him and locks him away with the Shadow pod in the hope that his aggression will make for a good guard against intruders.
The solitude and abandonment cement Omega's hatred of the Doctor, and everything else plays out as canon.
I don't actually think any of this is true, but it's fun to theorize.
