I'm going to presume you mean the Desert Raid, since I mentioned the Trophy Truck at first. It does work for the Raid as well, but instead of coming with missing panels it comes with no spare tires.
This trick does work for other vehicles too, but only specific ones, and only certain parts thanks to R*. The ones I know of are these:
-Streetfighter Akuma
-Headless Ruffian
-Headless PCJ600
-Cageless Mesa
-Assless Coquette Classic
-Stripped Mamba
-Rackless Rumpo Custom
-Panelless Trophy Truck
-Spareless Desert Raid
-Spareless Roosevelt

As a refresher course: open Task Manager, set Pause Game On Focus Loss to Off, purchase the desired vehicle into a garage with space, and when you see the red -$$$$$ money taken out of your account, immediately kill the GTAV process.
A word of warning, though: any vehicles over 100K bought this way will NOT be able to be resold! The game doesn't set the "purchased" flag when you do this trick and if you try to sell back a Trophy Truck or some other expensive car, you'll get slapped with a "too valuable to sell" message and will have to overwrite the car to remove it. Use caution when buying if you're on a budget.

Del Pierro Hights apartment is the cheapest high-end one. Grind to 12 lvl and Lester will call you about first heist. Clear it with anyone and you will get the main shitter's car which will make any future mission with transport a cakewalk.
Then you can always join gtag and ask people to help you with other heists.
If you clear all heists for the first time, then you get a 1.5 mil bonus.
You should buy and office while it's on sale. The Del Pierro one is again the cheapest one and literally across from your apartment.

Personally I think the only two vehicles worth spawning are the buzz and the limo, just because it's easy enough to call your mechanic for a quick v12 and if your org vehicle is land-based then it's going to be annoying having to destroy it or run away from it before you can call a buzz. Personally I just like leaving the buzz available for the org when someone needs it, much more convenient to grab a personal vehicle via the interaction menu and let the org spawn buzz be a failsafe for future fuckups.

Many cars' default windows have this faint gross green tint to them. Since you can't remove it, it's made me tint the windows Light Smoke on a few cars I normally wouldn't, just to be rid of it. Like on my Dubsta and Blista Compact.

Back when I still used mod menus, for their car customization there would be a fifth option available for window smoke besides None, Light, Dark, and Limo smoke, - labeled something like "Cool" or "Ice" tint by the menus - that removed the default green window tint of these cars. Meaning that the option to have it is in the game files already.

Sucks hard that R* never made it available for purchase at the mod shops.
