1. The enemy as a whole is bulky. High def/spr, 580k HP per part, numerous elemenetal resistances (only light/dark are safe to use)

Depending on your BC Lid's HP and defenses, I'd say go with her over Tilith to have Focus and be on general item duty along with some attacking with Killer Bow

The RNG in colosseum has always been weird and it still is with arena, there are just some set ups with unit position/esper that have guaranteed results like Tellah's Death, it's a known "bug" that has never been fixed, you can probably replicate it with any random skill, Hex Strike etc

Fucking hell, I've ran the exp dungeon 7 times now without a single Onion Mote drop.

At least I realized I could half of a mage meta team. Tellah (SSB), Edward (Mage buff SB), Kuja (enDark). Arc (both SSBs) and Tyro (BSSB).

Biggest problem is I've pulled jack for actual mage BSBs and my hones are terrible. I wanted to do an imperil earth team since I pulled Yang's claw but had no luck pulling Rydia or Maria's BSB.

Bahamut wasn't even the worst part lel. The Shadow Creepers learned Dark Breath during his last 20% HP or so and it fucking HURT. In the mid game they could also decide to just fuck you up by getting continuous Interrupt procs with Rush while a sphere was charging, which happened to me once. Remember that this was before Multi Break which would have been immensely useful for the damn things, or before most characters had gotten their MC2.

Who should I spend the moogles at or should I wait for the lucky Zidane or Gilgamesh draw?

Teams with Lightning are very annoying to face since it is RNG on whether or not you hit her with your physical attacks. I lost a 50 some odd streak today to my units failing to hit a low health Lightning after they got lucky first turn RNG and nuked 2 of my members down before I could move.

When Lightning gets her ability enhancements, she will quickly become the bane of many arena teams simply because hitting her with either physical or magic is RNG dependent.

I've had zero issues with getting nuked before I move in JP, all of my losses have come from status ailments, whether it's from Petrify weapons or asshole Setzers.

Though I did have a Tidus dodge half my attacks and then counterattack and petrify 4/5 of my team on MY first turn.

Funny thing is that my team wasn't so fragile since the weakest thing on there was my Butts who had like 5000 HP thanks to the Arena buffing him and he got mowed down like no tomorrow.

I have yet to get the Golem Cane and the Thorned Mace since I am too busy leveling up my Butts(97/100). I can't wait for the FFX event since that will give my Lightning the Razamatazz for petrify shenanigans in the Arena and it's a decent sword to boot. I'll likely give the Golem Cane to Butts once I get it so that I can let him do his Gale Barrage and attempt to petrify 5 times.

Solo level them since it's much faster to level them up individually than all together. Leave Butts for last since Exdeath is a powerful nuker and Refia is great to keep you topped off. All Butts is good for is Entrusting your Cecils/Exdeaths and being a Life Giver for whoever needs the MP the most.

I just finished my Butts now and right now I am currently leveling my WoL who should be a lot easier to level since he maxes out at 80 for the moment. Chizuru is my next target since I need more Sacred Crystals and Holy Crystals for her awakening to 5* before I grind her out.

Basically the rule is put the Dark Dragon to sleep, kill the Seeker before the aoe magic spam gets too atrocious, and then splat the dragon with magic and keep it asleep. Not that hard in theory but you'd be surprised with randoms and execution.

You only had to kill 6 creepers because the last two die when you kill Bahamut, but shit was still rough. I had to egg like 3 characters to 80 (eggs were more scarce back then too) and hone Fire Blossom to R4 (thankfully I already had Maduin and Valefor both at R5) to have enough damage. If I didn't have Planet Protector or Steiner's Stock Break I still would have been short on damage because by the end of it, the only character with any ability charges left was Sephiroth with a few uses of his R5 Armor Break (the sphere has no break resistance so Armor Break helped me kill it in a timely fashion). It took me a full day to find a working setup and even then I had to retry many times.
