I would say do one 5k pull.

Assuming we get the 10k pull at new year's eve too, if you do the daily 90 lapis you will get around 2700 lapis back in a month. And then there are other sources of lapis like rank ups, login bonuses, map missions and the events that will happen until then. So I think recovering the 5k won't be impossible until then. Worst case scenario you can just buy the lapis that will be missing, as it will probably not be much.

CoD is worthless outside of humans, but obviously the best when you are. The real question is Elza vs Gilg:
His multiplier is less than Elza's barrage (3.6 vs 4.2), but hers is Random Target and split 3 ways. A single elemental chain brings his multiplier higher than hers can reach with one element chain (it becomes 4.68 vs 4.62) and only gets better as you go along.

So not only does he have more attack, he also has a higher multiplier. Her LB is also not worth mentioning because it's less than her normal attack against ST bosses.

RK is closer to the ATB gameplay of classic Final Fantasy games, plus BE (particularly Global BE) is plagued a bit by the developer being a huge asshole.

BE has the advantage of having its own original storyline, but considering the story is one of the worst things ever and the fact that they have a million original characters getting in the way of what is meant to be an FF nostalgia game, that's almost a negative. I dropped the Global version of BE not too long ago and moved on to the JP version.

CoD does consistently good damage against everything, and her Omniveil is consistently better overall. Bartz does okay damage with a hybrid skill. The only thing he does that CoD doesn't is the self sacrifice skill, which you shouldn't be any rights need anyway.

BE and RK are both good, just different.

BE has its own story while RK is a puddle of nostalgia replaying old FF scenes.
BE gameplay is turn-based combat and occasional "open map" exploring, while RK has a classic FF-like ATB combat, like another anon already mentioned.

Also the artwork is different, and a matter of taste which you prefer more. Inb4 BE is UGLY!

In BE you gacha for characters and grind for equipment. RK is the other way around.

The thing that shits on BE the most is how extremely grindy it is. And before someone yells that TMRs are a luxury, I'm not even talking about TMR grinding, just grinding in general.
Anyone who cannot stand grinding the least should stay away from BE.
RK has its grinding aswell, but the two just don't compare.

Both provide good challenge, too.

Personally I enjoy them both but prefer BE. Haven't tried Mobius.

FFIII is about as close as you get to a port of an NES title as you can get, it's going to kick you in the balls if you start slacking on your grindan' armoran' and experimentin' with breaking the class system.

FFIV is a much more chill game, it gives you all the stuff yo uneed and as long as you explore reasonably you'll always be the right level. The way it gives you bonuses for exploring 100% of a map keeps you at least at the level you need to be and it always makes sure you have a selection of classes you need to succeed, not to mention Cecil's fantastic fucking stat selection.
