He's a low skill floor and easy to get into, and from him you can learn the basics of aiming with other characters.

There's some really neat plays you can do tinkering around with hacking, invisiblity, and that translocator.

Hm... That's hard to say. There's a difference between ignorance, incompetence and ineptitude. With incompetence, it implies some sort of expectation that you're failing to live up to. Someone playing like a Gold playing in Platinum is incompetent. Someone playing like a Gold player in Gold is expected.

But, yeah, gold players make a lot of mistakes. The difference between Gold and Platinum can almost be measured in mistakes alone. If you just focus on not making any mistakes and play the meta strictly by the books that's enough to get you into Platinum. (after that, not fucking up is expected and winning games comes down to whether you can make impact plays)

Get stuck in, mess with their formation, maybe take out isolated enemies and boost back to safety.

Know where health packs are so you can always boost to them in a pinch.

Use defence matrix as a handy discount version of Rein's shield for your team against ults and entrenched enemies.

Don't except kills with self destruct unless you can launch it in a way to catch people off guard.
Alternatively you can use it to clear areas.

You have infinite ammo but wide spread so you can keep up sustained fire to help in pushes.

Roadhog's hook requires a different technique for maximum damage on every different hero. The hook is fucked, and you'll never see Blizzard saying this in the patch notes.

I have a minor problem when playing mccree.
Whenever I shot the gun randomly "jams"(like hiccups the whole game) or "double shoots"(but the second shot isn't a real bullet but visual one). This wasn't an issue before but recently after unknown patch(es) is has become an issue.

Most of the heroes are underwhelming in any team composition, some unviable at all. Apparently only Soldier 76, Widowmaker, Reaper and McCree are any good, also Genji.

Speed Boost Lucio is 7.1 m/s and Amp it Up version is like, faster than all of these values whatever it is.

Watching all the Soldier:76 play makes me realize this is healthy for the game.
