Question for /wfg/.

I'm trying to do Spy Missions for certain Void relics and for Ivara parts, all I have is a Mag and soon to be Rhino and was wondering what's a decent, low-tier Stealth Build for them?
I know I can get Loki and a Shade Sentinel but I'm saving the last slot for Ivara and don't want to waste it; and I've already gotten Carrier for my Sentinel as well.

Oh, I know what I'm up against. It's still not as bad as some of the grinds I've done in the past. It's also to try and get Nova Prime and Soma Prime before they're vaulted for an extended period and it seems, at least from doing research the best place to get her parts are from Spy Missions. The Lanka is incredibly good.
That damage bonus is pretty close to Heavy Caliber, but with no negative.
Only issue is the polarity really.

Ideally for the Lanka you'd want more fire rate and crit damage though.
If you got damage, crit damage, and fire rate all in one it would be golden.

Yes, but not a yuge amount. It has one pretty good stat and a pretty good, but situational stat.

In my opinion, it's the best sniper rifle in the game. Although it has a charge mechanic and flight time, it has something like 5m innate punchthrough and does massive quantities of damage. The charge time can brought to a very reasonable level while still doing tons of damage.

Crit is a bit unreliable though, but then again, there are Rivens now! Go go Gadget power creep!

I run vitality too since arcane grace is even better sustain than mediray and you don't have to worry about your carrier dying. You can replace vitality with SF if you're in situations where you're frequently dipping into QT since armor affects it, and anything %-based doesn't care whether your EHP comes from more HP or more armor.

Punch through is another example, it doesn't show up in TTK calculations but in the actual game it's a huge benefit to have and we know that.

The thing about frames is that people get attached to them so they like to argue, especially because unlike weapons you can make almost any frame work in any situation, there might be better options but since you like the frame you bring you'll try to defend it.
But overall we DO have a pretty good idea which frames are good and bad, we just don't try to put it in a strict list.

I think they realized they've gone too far with the power creep, Primed mods and so on to really pull off any kind of proper Damage 3.0 without truly pissing a lot of people off.

Instead, they've embraced it and are now milking it for all it's worth.

Warframe's concurrent user count peaked in January of this year and has been gently, but steadily, declining. It really took a shit right after Starnerf 3.0 released when they nuked Draco, removed endless missions, and nerfed a bunch of other miscellaneous stuff like oxium farming and stealth XP (there are lot fewer high-affinity enemies in normal tilesets now).

When TWW hit, Saturday set an all-time record for concurrent players on Steam by a few thousand, but it's downspiking pretty rapidly. Warframe updates are kinda like WoW expansions except that the people who come back for them tend to leave a lot sooner.

Well, if people are willing to tolerate a pure lottery system that rewards a very few through dumb luck and makes superpowered mods available to whales for a few thousand plat, whatever.

Thing is, if you're blatant enough with your cash-grabbing, you can even piss off the whales. I guess we'll see.

You can smash and grab your way through the entire level before the actual data room and alert status will not transfer over. Nobody will investigate the spy room once you get in. Sole exception is mine ospreys which are easy to take out.

Spy 2.0 is all about learning the shortcuts which are vaguely randomized but not in any sort of challenging way. Yes, you can pull switch teleport gimmicks with loki, or run through lasers with limbo, but frankly that only saves you about 5-10s per room at most. Take maybe 15 minutes to watch some youtube videos (or just look at the clips posted on the spy2.0 wiki page) and work your way through the easy / medium / hard rooms.

I take freshly forma'd frames to Pluto spies for 36k affinity per because I find leeching boring and spy runs are quick and comfy and the dual stat mods are easy to sell, even if they don't go for a lot

A few of those weapons don't belong there for sure, but a lot of them are good for nonintuitive setups. Braton P still hits solid DPS with vile/shred and three elements, torid still pulls off that bullshit area control with endless procs and lockdown, opticor is one of those pseudo bows that nobody actually takes time to figure out. It's not the best by any means, and DPS by the numbers is poor, but nobody accounts for the fact that it's probably meant to be used consistently at half charge because of its fuckhueg base damage.

This isn't really about me, it's about Limbo.

It's a fact that there are players out there who know Limbo's mechanics through and through, they know most or all of his niche applications and strategies, and a few of them were the first ones to discover those applications while playing around in the Simulacrum (or wherever).

Can't prove it, but I'd be willing to bet most of these people don't play Limbo 99% of the time. I know one of them. He's been playing since launch, has literally everything, 2,000 hours in-mission, is extremely competent in all areas of the game, and doesn't play Limbo.

It's not just that Limbo isn't the best, it's that most other Warframes are a better choice almost all of the time.

That said, I do agree that Oberon needs more love than limbo. Plus, Oberon looks cool as fuck, rather than some nightmarish and awkward attempt at a gentleman-wizard in a tophat.

Again, that's entirely subjective, and in fact that's not even true. Opticor and bows is fucking garbage against pretty much every enemy level in the game. Furthermore, what's good against lv100 chargers may not be good against lv100 HGs. I'd be impressed if someone takes Braton/burston into sortie 3 and manages to deal appreciable damage without chugging ammo restores like crazy.

He also completely neglects to mention how to use.build the weapons. Granted, most of them are cookie-cutter, but there are some very important distinctions to be made, e.g. Status Tigris, gas Lanka, Simulor doesn't need multishot, hek/v.hek difference, etc.

I've had newbies in my clan alliance ask what to tater based on this picture and had to consider that many of them don't have access to mass amounts of forma, or aren't high enough to earn syndicate mods, or farm rathuum, or the fact that a lot of the stuff on the list is vaulted or only works with event exclusive mods.

Use Inaros (hunt and feed on the weak links in the match, snowball into immortality, laugh in the face of any frame's ultimate bouncing off your scarab armoured pharaoh pecs)
Use Braton Prime or Soma Prime (Automatic weapons are the easiest to pick up and use. Braton Prime has higher dps and less recoil but Soma Prime has a large ammo capacity and magazine size to make up for the mistakes you might make. AIM FOR THE HEAD YOU SILLY WILLY)
Use Secondary of your choice (Personal preference at this point)
Use a Sword or other melee weapon that you can move full speed while attacking with (Locking yourself into a melee animation is a good way to get btfo)

Also, make sure both your primary and secondary weapons are outfitted with the mods that reload them when holstered. As Inaros you are constantly on the chase, you can't afford to waste time reloading. Only feed if you know for sure you're safe; you're very vulnerable while doing so. Like in PVE, never press 3. Press 1 when you're outnumbered or the enemy is aggressive, Press 2 to prepare for a kill. Whenever you can, Scarab Armour yourself to near death and feed on whoever you just killed (feeding restores full health).

Minimally viable Broberon 2.0 suggestions:

Power 1 remains the same.

Power 2 is now his heal and costs less. Instant heal to everyone in range + healing over time with LOS to all friendly targets (including NPCs), indicated by energy beam.

Power 3 for Hallowed Ground costs more energy but is now a massive square/rectangle/polygon around Oberon rather than in front of him. Does not do any damage to enemies; instead it procs random status effects on any enemy entering the field and for each [time interval] they spend on top of the zone. Power strength affects this interval as well as how much damage is dealt by the status effects that can put on the hurt. Status immunity and armor buff is still applied to allies.

Power 4 gets an increase in power and has a large increase to the maximum amount of targets that can be affected. Maybe instead of a radial effect the targeting should be a rectangle in front of Oberon, affecting all targets within?

With these, only a minimum amount of effort and coding is required to make the changes.

Why do people want to remove his Infinite Range heal? Just tweak the ability on what it does, make it not end when the health is full, just continue on as the duration allows it and increase the cast time and its projectile speed further and faster than ever. Are you sure proccing random status effects is a good idea? Why not proc status effects they are most weak to instead? Like if Infested walked over it, they would get hit by fire and slash, while Grineer would get hit between Corrosive, Slash, Fire, etc. His current Armor buff doesn't work, due to being a percentage, and leads no benefit to squishy frames, unless it's either A. change to a flat value or B. just go straight to DR.
Hallowed Ground has its uses, however I rather not always be restricted to it. How about dual ability with it? Quick Casts with the ground, and press & hold to enter a channeled ability like, Allies connect to him like a Link, small DR and the more damage he takes the more health he gains, allies linked will have statue effects and DR to them, so it allows mobility for the guy?

Nah, here's what you do:

Smite now outright destroys Nullifier bubbles.

His 2 grows in power and size as enemies take damage / allies are healed while inside of it. Instead of granting armor, grants 1% pure damage, unaffected by power strength but grows rapidly as hallowed ground grows in size. Nearby hallowed ground merges into the same blob.

3: Fine. Just needs the augment to actively work as long as you have the ability toggled.

4: Can now be charged. Longer charge, more damage. No longer CCs.

Oberon as the Paladin frame should be all about creating areas of power. He should have no CC at all so that he contrasts well with Vauban and Frost, but instead focus on outright tanking through sheer damage reduction and anti-status effects. A less mobile and more aggressive version of Trinity.

If it always procs the best status effects it could be too ridiculously powerful of a crowd control, though that depends on the rate of the procs and the size of the zone.

I have the idea that it should be something like a 3-4 second interval between procs. That's going to be really fast with high % power strength for something that might toss a Bombard around, then stun him 1.5s later, then strip his armor, then set him on fire, then slash him just for good measure, etc etc.

Something really weird just happened. I played Warframe today for the first time in like 3 years and when I finished the tutorial everything I picked was gone.
