oh by the way texture anon, the main purpose of these textures and the mod itself it to try and get the concept of a gem mod Right.
so often do i see mods just alter the Hue and Saturation of emerald blocks, with lack luster ore textures made in an unfitting 32x32 grid that completely removes it from vanilla's style, cough cough silent's gemswhen they really should be forming like beautiful crystals unique for each gem, and not just clones of intangible's soul crystals.
gem cutting, embezzling, growing crystals through mixing dusts into water to make solutions, inlaying into tools and armor, thats the kind of gem mod im going for.
and further more, i will not be giving a set of tools for every single fucking gemstone. the mere fact that mods make gem tools that are basically identical to eachother triggers me im not going to lie.
nah nah nah, gems will be put in to weapons and armor, and give special bonuses such as:
-amethyst: mythology is known to ward away hangover sickness, so wearing a necklace of amethyst prevents nausea and slows hunger depletion
-sunstone: absorb the power of the sun, giving the player a cloak of fire or extra damage against undead: when its night and you cant rely on the sun
-moonstone: gain a spectral wolf for every stage of the moon, with a big alpha protecting on the full moon

and much much more: garnet, pearl, topaz, pyrite, and so much potential for cross mod compatibility!
but im still new to the modding game so it will all be a learning experience. wish me luck anons

Yeah, veinminer is a breddy solid thing, because it allows to simply assing any block to any tool.

So theoretically you could make your pickaxe veinmine power conduits to replace them with higher tier in seconds.

Just remember to get /veinminer config save or something like that after you do in game changes and you're happy with them

Is there a way to get haste early game?

I want to take my time progressing through the game in this modpack (as opposed to making a landfill of autism machines exposed to the sky), but that requires building shit, but building shit requires materials, and harvesting materials takes literally forever when using shitty wood and stone picks.

I want to start a magic based modpack with some focus on exploration and comfy things, have never played much magic mods other than TC without addons and Witchery but I love them alot. Which are mods or a modpack I should use based on magic.

It's pretty easy for me with Tinkers Construct
once you get iron you can use the vanilla recipe for a pick and use it only to mine redstone/gold/diamond until you have shit for a smelter and such so you can paste redstone onto metal tools for quick mining
then when you can make excavators and hammers it gets to be pretty easy to mine out entire chunks in no time

What I don't understand is how people even autism landfill in the first place. How do you prevent mobs from being a fucking annoyance? I do the same thing but usually it's underground, so shit ends up even more bland.

I just want to build a factory and watch items flaot around on conveyor to soothe my autism, but by the time I get enough resources to do it I don't have the willpower to untangle the nigger rigged set up and chests full of garbage already in place. Not to mention the longer you hold off on building thing, the more bypassable and useless the functionality of the thing you're building actually becomes.

Thaumcraft 4 has a bit of alchemy, you use essentia in a crucible (can be upgraded to become a thaumatorium) to make more of something, but only works for a few materials, namely metals.

Thaumic bases, which is a liiiittle on the "shitty but still kind of handy" side of things adds a lot more of these recipes. Thaumic horizons allows you to do transmutations dealing with living materials

I can't recall any single block that does what the thaumic transmutator did, though I think there was one addon that tried adding it back to the game.

Googling into the issue, it seems thaumic tinkerer has a transmutator, but it's disabled by default, you pay 4x an item's essentia cost to duplicate it. Obviously, this can run into issues of cross-mod compatibility, but it's an option for you for sure.

Are you using the same cable for both sides? As dumb as it sounds make sure it's the same type of cable. I'm not too familiar but some mods get upset if the cable's don't use the same voltage so you might need to slap an energy cube between the cables to convert the power, even though I thought mekanism cables are interchangeable.

I'm not entirely sure what causes that config crash - but removing the code that stops the items/blocks from being registered seems to have fixed it. They'll exist, but you won't be able to craft them, nor will the research show up.
Entity Deconstructor has more or less been unfucked too.

The frame is acacia wood and carpenter's slopes. Walls are cobble stone bricks (macroblocks) and white stained clay. The floors are just acacia planks. I also framed the windows with cobblestone strips, but i'm still not sure if I'm keen on it. The roof is just flat light grey stained clay.

Riflemen Are very accurate and do quite a bit of damage. They do not get close.
The Machine gunner: not very accurate but spams shots.
Gunslinger: Two pistols. will rush the player and spam shots.
Swordsman: will attempt to dodge incoming projectiles. have above average armor.

Luckily for you I'm bored as fuck and something very similar happened to me with those cocksucking pinch beetles in the Twilight Forest a while ago, so I'll give it a shot even though I'm shooting into the darkness:
If the graveyard mod you have installed is OpenBlocks, then go to your world save's folder and check under its data folder, there should be a file in there somewhere called something like "inventory-<player>-<date>-death.dat". Check if its date matches your time of death. If it does, excellent, this is the backup of your inventory Openblocks made at the time of your death, and it's likely it's missing its buddy that ends in "-grave.dat", instead of "-death.dat" because the grave never came to be.
Log into your world, (empty your inventory if you died again in the meanwhile), type "/ob_inventory restore", then press space, then tab (should autocomplete with your playername) then space again, then tab again (should autocomplete with name of the file you found earlier, if not, type in the filename yourself). Press enter. Presto, your inventory, with items in the exact slots they were in to boot. Proceed to apologize to OpenBlocks.

If not OpenBlocks, or if the file isn't present, then you're shit outta luck. Maybe post the fucking logs or name the gravestone mod and you might get help. Maybe.

Problem is, IE is an RF based mod, and that means it sort of expects you to have other RF based shit installed, so it leaves some shit out, or does some shit really weakly.
Wereas some of the mods that could compliment it really well, like magneticraft, are fully standalone and can support themselves.

That being said, if you only want one mod, go with railcraft, it has some nice shit to fit the aesthetic and doesn't get too high tech.

Fucking half the mod's code is copy-pasted wheat code with a different name and painterly graphics.

Growthcraft had the right idea in making each food type unique in its own way and had the potential to get that fat fuck's ass out of the spotlight and onto the street.

But then the dev quit and handed the mod off to some retards who bloated it to fuck with a hundred and one different beehives and crowbar colors because MUH COLORS AND TEXTURES and then filled it with retarded as fuck crafting steps for literally no reward, with absolutely ZERO ingame documentation to boot - fuck, absolutely nothing but the basic workbench crafting even displays in NEI. Magic blocks are just blocks that do one (or a few) things magically. For example, throw iron into a pulverizer and it becomes iron dust, put a MFR farm in front of a tree and it spits out wood, put cobble in an IE crusher and it becomes sand. Just like that. Actual non-magic blocks in modded MC are extremely rare, and it has nothing to do with how they're built or how much space they take.

The definition I have gathered from lurking of magic block is in the example of the pulveriser, the IE requires you a big setup and bigger resource because fuck you, but gives you a big machine that when giving electricity will crush the ores with its "blades" (if its the correct word) leaving the grit. While TE does the same IN A SINGLE BLOCK, with microcrafting. Comparing the recipes IEs engi block has a more "logical" sense because its made out of gears and machines parts and its used a lot while the TE one is just craft a few components like gears and machine frames combine with flint because yeah and you have a magic block.
