Raids aren't casual because of the organization requirement. You could pug it, but for that you need to already have experience. If they were 5-mans with the same difficulty the complaints would be way less.

It's not just raids though. Most of the HoT content was badly designed for casuals. They made everything a grind and then had to fix it in the April patch.

I used to miss fighting against Europe and fucking Korea for the favor of the gods and dick waving rights.

You couldn't just swipe your credit card or be carried, you actually had a vital function in a party and were only as strong as your weakest link.

A lot of people who never played the first game keep talking about nostalgia, it wasn't perfect but, despite being a dated game, it actually has more content to speak of than Guild Wars 2
