This is subjective but the character designs are atrocious.
Going along their "New Here?" page, the second page has a huge red flag with "18 year old still depressed" Sans. Then on the next page there's a bulldozer of bullshit with Gaster's "Wife" and this all having taken place during the Medieval Era.

Also Sans is still a weapon but he and Papyrus are part dog. Actually some of those points share some striking similarities as AYEM. I wonder which one came first?

The cast was all likable enough but the plot didn't go anywhere and felt like I was just watching the aimless directions of some adventurers.

I agree. Vesperia's story's main issue is that the climax with the main villain occurs two thirds through the story, rather than at the end like Symphonia or Abyss.
Once that's over, there really isn't much else to do other than clean up his mess.
Still, the gameplay in Tales of Vesperia's pretty fun.


Also, sorry, but don't get your hopes up with the PS3 version. It doesn't change that plot point.

Final Fantasy, due to complete lack of knowledge on the other game series
I'm only familiar with earlier Final Fantasies, so probably 1-6 only. Maybe one of the offshoot games like Crystal Chronicles, would probably emulate that game though, due to the wacky control scheme.

Final Fantasy 6 was the last great main series game of the franchise, it turned into edge fuel and plummeted due to FF7. Sure, some of the offshoot non mainseries games were okay, but the main series lost it's edge.
