Sitting on my best roll and keeping an eye on it: Luneth, Gaffgarion, Cecil, also with Amarant and Hayate, all of what from all my rolls are pretty rare units all around. I went a little further in the story but on luck on those extra pulls. I hope Refia pops up on this account at some point, but still rolling.

A max F2P kefka has 417 MAG, so a hyperdrive from him would deal 13,598 to 15,997. To a broken enemy, this would be 19,425 to 22,853

The idea isn't that you use it as a substitute for barrage. Instead you use it as a chain finisher.

In BE, the meta is highly centered around building chains, it isn't just for edgarcheesers.

Her new skill has an effective multiplier of 2.8 to start out, but a SINGLE elemental chain brings this to 3.64, which is much better than barrage.

Synergy with garland/dk cecil imperil is just a nice bonus.

Nah, my math isn't wrong. 504 ATK with diabolos is a big difference between 471 ATK. Exponential scaling dude.

With 471 ATK, she would deal 139,218 to 200,182 under full break and cheer. Guess how much of his health that is (it's less than 1/4th).

With embolden, it'd just be 149,105 to 214,400.

There's a critical threshold in there where her damage just gets retarded, but this is under that threshold.

I guess I never realized until now how DW works, but after some research I'm starting to understand.

You don't do two hits at max attack, but one hit each at the max attack afforded by each weapon. So even with two identical weapons, you're not dealing double damage.
There isn't enough information to say for sure how much she'd attack for without knowing what weapon is in each hand.

Let's pretend she's got a lunar pestle and a rising sun. That would mean she does one attack @ 411 ATK, and another attack @ 364 ATK.

That means she's actually only doing 1.679x the attack by having two weapons, not a full 2x. This is where I went wrong last time.

The first FFXIII game is fine, if you can make it to the final third of the game. The open world questing and killing dinosaurs is quite enjoyable, even if the start of the game is slow as fuck.

Depends on who you ask, but Ashe is harder to work into a team.
She's a good mage with some nice heals/support. She can also do physical, but not as well as a real physical unit. You could make her Orlandu junior too, but she'd need an elemental weapon.

Rasler's one of the best base 4*s in the game, he's literally a tanky Orlandu junior, but more F2P friendly because his element's built in.

If you had to take one alone, Ashe wins. But in a full team, you'd probably want Rasler (or multiple Raslers)

I doubt anyone is having difficulty with ba'gamman but a couple tips. Don't forget about your old friend water veil. Since all males will receive synergy, Ramza was doing about 6k per hit with it to all targets. Also, you can summon Teedus OSB to instantly kill 2 of them.

Bring tons of Holy damage. Don't recommend spells as he seems to have higher res. Beatrix's Holy imperil helped me get through it. You basically need to take him down fast. Also Darkra does magic damage, could 1 shot weak characters if not careful.

The higher of the buffs will be the one that's active. If you have innate access to Hero's Rime, then that is the better buff since that can be enhanced to a 100% stat buff. All Chapter 1 Ramza is good for is Enhanced twice Hero's Rime and then rinse and repeat. Just make sure to give him as much HP as you can to make sure he can survive.

You should never run imperil when you could be doing damage instead. It very seldom makes up for losing a damaging turn, even if you're packing a whale friend.

If you can't do 1/5th of the damage your whale is doing with your unit, then you shouldn't even be attempting xande. Imperil is not the answer, you're supposed to blitz through him before he can kill you.
