That anon is also forgetting that Talon has historically always been pretty useless running in from the front of a teamfight. If anything he's better at it now thanks to Invis on his R and the fact that ulting into the fight and Q auto Wing someone is basically an insta-delete from stealth.
Old Talon needed to look for flanks to get the right kills and not make a fool of himself in teamfights. New Talon needs to do that just as much but now has much greater means for actually doing so rather than just slapping on his Mobis and hoping there's no wards.

I believe I've said it here before but I'll say it again anyway: Duskblade is the biggest godsend on this whole patch for new Talon.

Honestly it seems most of the bitching about the reworks is from silver mains that are butthurt their champions aren't as faceroll anymore.

I like Katarina for example, the rework for her looks amazing but I don't think I'll be able to continue playing her because she requires a decent amount of mechanics now.

I think these people realize the goal of this class update wasn't to make assassins good at every stage of the game but to give them much healthier play patterns.

There's nothing enjoyable about laning against a Kat spamming Q then mashing buttons to delete you when you're low.

Honestly that doesn't even feel that great from Kats side either.

You have to work harder to get a kill but it's feels much better when you do. You feel more like you've outplayed or been outplayed rather kinda cheaty/cheesy.

Once he's used his charge which he has to use to get anything done, you attack him while your team ccs and gets range on him.

Now he's not in melee range and has no charge

Part of the problem in low elo is everyone scatters and abandons each other if a charging voli comes. He's likely going to catch someone, the idea is to only give him a flip on someone who doesn't mind being flipped.

Then when he has flipped, most low elo people stand around scared instead of realizing he can't flip or chase and he's a free target.

Part of the problem IMO is that any new game IMMEDIATELY gets dissected and number crunched if it's at all popular, and before anyone has even learned the game it has FOTM and you get flamed for not picking the "meta".

I had the same issue.

Look up jungle routes.

Keep an eye on the mini map.

Learn to use your F Keys to jump the camera to your allies to check on things.

If you notice they might be fighting on the mini map you can use those to take a look.

IF the enemy is low you can start pathing over there and collect some kills.

Hi, PBE player here. Get ready for some educated opinions.

PBE players are really bad and don't know jack shit about warding out the jungler or lane Kha counterplay. Kha'Zix players get a couple early kills for free and then snowball from there because he's still Kha'Zix.
The changes are nice for him but overall not a buff to his assassination. Lower Q CD when hitting an isolated target with evolved Q gives him better lane trading, better punish on missteps and better dueling against bulkier foes but doesn't actually do much for his assassination. The R evolve is still a bad choice unless you take it first as a jungler, otherwise you won't take it at all. The W changes are almost strictly a nerf.
The only real buff he got to his assassination is his passive is now AD scaling but it's not a super impressive scaling (and I think it's bonus not total).
I've seen numerous complaints about Twitch being broken on PBE so that should tell you the average skill level of players.

Trades her trademark instant burst speed for mobility.
Her spin radius on picking up a dagger is fairly large but the daggers always land in the same places so it's really easy to play keep away.
Not as faceroll, more options in combat probably means a more viable pick in general.

Legitimately broken. He doesn't need a lead to do crazy amounts of damage early and his mid/lategame damage is back to old instagib 1shot rengar except now he has a low CD AoE + mini dash making up the bulk of that damage.
Combined with the fact that his ult gives him a ton of movespeed and lasts THIRTY SECONDS at max rank, you cant get away from him. Also his leap range being increased to 700 by default is some major horseshit and needs to be changed immediately.
Grouping up isn't even counterplay anymore because if you group up your whole team gets hit by the AoE.
Definitely P/B tier.

I loved how it felt like an entirely fresh feel. I loved how you had to work with the new pokemon so it felt like a new adventure. I loved how it led to finding pokebros that under normal circumstances I'd have never given a chance like Galvantula and I loved how Victini actually felt like a true mythical pokemon. It was literally the exception to the never using Legendaries rule for me just because it felt like it belonged on a new adventure.

Also the Elite 4 and post game Champion battle managed to actually be challenging.

She now has to wait 1.5 seconds for the majority of her burst to come out because it's on her passive.
To make up for it she now has 6 skills (2 different ults on separate CDs) 5 of which are damaging (5th one is her passive).
She's legitimately tricky with her new ult shenanigans and she feels a lot more fair to play against.
I've always HATED LeBlanc from the bottom of my heart but playing on PBE every time I get killed by one I honestly feel like I got outplayed, there was something I could have done better to avoid that. I didn't just get instantly deleted before I could react.

I never ended up playing black and white, but I heard they were good. I just don't understand why they had all these great ideas for the Emerald Battle Frontier and then go back to shitty battle towers in future games. I always played pokemon for the engage and the process of breeding and training the best pokemon I could get. X and Y had a lot to do after the elite four as well so I was okay with losing the Battle Frontier. But they just straight up removed all post-Elite Four content from the newest games. There's literally nothing to do after you beat them.

He requires getting used to, that's for sure. However, the "nerf" that he's going to get in the preseason update (reducing his %hp damage on his E from 8% max rank to 5% max rank) isn't as big of a deal as people make it out to be. Much more importantly, though, is the fact that that same update is going to reduce the time it takes for him to get back onto Skaarl once he gets max Courage by more than HALF: from 1.25 seconds to do so to goddamn 0.5 seconds. It's going to be a huge buff to his ability to get in and get out of fights.
