Allright, found my problem with them.

In Oblivion I liked playing a battlemage who uses both guilds to "help" during the main quest. Skyrim has this potential as well. I always use Aela, Farkas and Vilkas during my more important fight during the Main and Dawnguard quests. Makes sense, protecting Skyrim and searching for glory. Hell, some Companion miniquests are about killing dragons.

The problem is justifying the college aspect (I really want the summon dremora and incinerate spells). Join the college, do my many busin ess with the, sell the elder scroll, get tired of theirr ineffectual stupidity, kill the pointy-chin Altmer bitch and get kicked out. Boom. Guild left. Time to roleplay a hedge-battlemage.

I've been trying to get LOOT to work myself, but it's being difficult. And I'm being stupid probably.

So I've just encountered a bug I've never had before.

when I attempt to mine, and the camera goes into third person, my character doesn't actually perform the action, and my camera is stuck in the view it is, I can't move it around with the mouse I cannot zoom in, I can't go into first person.

I favor Fire.

Lightning is a close second, because it's hitscan and not much resists it, but Fire wins out for me simply because targets on fire take extra damage.

So it's just the superior damage output of any element.

It is literally every time I try to mine shit.
I've been told that deleting ControlMap_Custom.txt and reaquiring it might fix things, something mayu have gone wrong in there or something.

My in game work around right now is to just be in first person when I start to mine, it will keept he cursor on the mining spot so I can tell it to mine when it zooms out, once the actual mining animation starts I'll be able to control my camera again when it ends.

The extent of my modding with the CK way back when it first came out was I added in the hooded archmage robes that exist in the game files, and tweaked the all reduction percentage slightly, and removed the enchant on the archmage boots that come with it.

Also made a standing stone, and tweaked the lovers stone a bit for faster leveling.

That was the extent of it though and never did any more like that. Only reason I did those edits with the archmage gear was I liked it and wanted to use it but I also wanted to be able to hit that 100% cost reduction cap, which wasn't possible otherwise with that gear.

Making a separate functioning standing stone was a pain in the ass though.

Putting OS and programs on SSDs is nice for simply loading applications. Boot times are nice, too. You should really be shutting your computer off whenever you're not using it for long periods of time, e.g., overnight. It does wonders for hardware life.
