I made the mistake of trying an animation mod on SSE. After deleting the mod and all files related to it my casting animation still looks like this when looking or moving around.

I've got 50 hours in so far on my current elfu. I usually dont last this long because I get CTD's off the ass and fps shits itself too. Now my game looks better, I can actually run good texture mods and a reshade, I have a good amount of mods, and I'm not crashing. The only thing I miss from Oldrim are MCM, few immersion mods and city/college overhauls. But what does that matter when I'm actually enjoying and playing the game with stability?

Tamriel Reloaded has too many crap pixelatted textures and not enough good ones,plus the designs of the texture sets class alot with eachother. Vivid Landscpaes and Noble Skyrim is far better in those regards, and Vivid has much better parallax.

If you're into boob plate, that's just fine, friend. But the truth is that boob plate wasn't used in battle because not only were knights somewhat of a rarity in the first place (armor was incredibly expensive, only reserved for the knighted nobility, et al) but because it's impractical and awkward to forge in the first place.

Which is why you only see it as ceremonial armor.

Not necessarily, by the later medieval period everyone in a battlefield would have an adequate amount of armor. Chest, head, hands - they'd be covered in plate (or at least brigandine). They wouldn't have the absolute best protection, and it may be much older gear reforged to suit a late period battlefield (We see late 12th century swords with early 14th century hilt and sometimes even total blade reforges) but everyone would have arms and armor of some sort.

Alright so I'm doing the thieves guild quest line, just got to The Pursuit where I have to break into Mercers house

I am noticing a lot of people saying they have low framerate and their mod list includes Verdant and SFO. Go to your Data folder and edit "iMinGrassSize=20" to your prefered value (between 60 and 100).
Please remember to read mod pages for any changes in the SE version.
From Verdant mod page on iMinGrassSize: "I will not support or encourage anyone to go lower than 60 ever"
From SFO: "SFO now comes with its own .ini (skyrim flora overhaul.ini). This file adds the necessary .ini changes so you no longer need to edit your skyrim.ini file."

They handle grass differently. Verdant uses a "grass on steroids" style hack so imingrasssize means something different depending on if you have Verdant installed or not.

Toasterfag here I'm unsure of why but my new save keeps crashing whenever I go confront the bandits near that cave north of Whiterun. My papyrus size, scripts, scriptinstances, and overall mods enabled are much lower than my older profile saves and I have no idea why the fuck just entering into combat freezes me.

About the only thing I can think of that might be it is I now have something that revamps the vanilla armors for everyone and adds physics perhaps? I had no issues with combat during Helgen, Riverwood, etc up to the first dragon.
